"before visiting myself, I had called to book a table and demand a certain type of sitting space to meet our needs. the dame over the phone advised that she could not guarantee that a table, as the restaurant fills quickly. Although this can be their policy, I cannot understand the point of booking if they cannot meet the needs of their customers. the point of booking is to prepare the restaurant for the customers and their specifications. we booked. the caffe itself is on the street and parking can be something to be superior if they are not familiar with the opposite. I believe that the parking space next to the pavement on Sunday or the rest of the week after a certain time that I cannot remember is free. once ordered, the food came hot and the staff was nice and accommodating. but I and my friend both felt sick when we ate the sausages and felt bad all day. the sausages were 80 cattle and 20 chickens, as we said. perhaps the type of oil that was used or something else there was simply a strange after taste that was not paleable for both of us. the portions themselves are quite larger, enough to fill them. the restaurant itself was packed almost completely around a few hours into the opening, so it seems like a popular place. the tables themselves are not big, so we do not have much space to move around objects, although there is not much of an annoying for us to eat. the coffees were made according to my opinion quickly and to a good standard. I also ordered from this caffe in my house and the food came as it looked in person."

"Having coming to regency for the past >20 years. It’s only fair I give you valuable feedback. I’m 34, and have been regular from South London to Regency since I’ve been 13! Regency is a family business that’s always have had family feel to it,...especially with Pankaj PM. Food has always been amazing since my teenage days. We as a family could not stop recommending it to everyone. It was authentic indian/kenyan style of food. We would visit from South London on a Sunday every 1 2 months and we loved it. However, since Post COVID the food has definitely not been the same. There has definitely been a compromise with flavour etc. We’re glad and totally understand the need to adapt to modern times to survive as business and aspire with higher goals (whatever that may be, whether that’s scaling, etc. . We are truly glad to see Regency moving with the times and honestly wish you all the best. However, the past 3 visits we’ve definitely witnessed and tasted the drop in quality of food. For example, chicken tikka, you could tell it was warmed before serving, it may be freshly cooked on the day and then warmed, but you can tell by looking at the colour and also through the texture when tasting. Another example, tallapia fish and tawa chicken… These items were once amazing and the one thing I loved about Regency was the consistency of quality of food, it was amazing how you achieved that through the years. However, as mentioned we have noticed a drop in quality. We have also heard same feedback from family and friends. Word of mouth within the Gujarati community is strong and hugely important,. Nevertheless, rather than listening to them we thought we would be the judge ourselves and I had to sadly agree. In comparison to Everest Spice, Purple Flames, Abercorn I would say average now. Before, Regency was the place! As mentioned being a long term customer, it’s only fair I give back valuable feedback and we would love to see Regency make a comeback. You may take a balanced view and go well business is thriving we’re fine! You could do! But is that Regency’s attitude? Especially after working so hard over the years in maintaining that high standard. Service was great and always has been, so defo kudos where its due! Love the extended menu and trying new things like vegan jeera lamb etc. Great sign on moving with times. But please bring back the authentic taste that you once had. Wish you all the best!"

"This is probably the highest rating I 've ever given a restaurant on Zomato and this restaurant in Kilburn deserves every extra point that it can get. Earlier known as Geeta, in its new avatar it serves both South Indian and North Indian fare. The menu is extensive and there 's alcohol if you can 't do without it. You eat here once and I 'm pretty sure this will turn into your regular haunt (if you live nearby that is) for a taste of India. The restaurant is run by a chef from Kerala and boy does he know what he 's doing in the kitchen. The people who run the place are very friendly and are more than happy to go that extra mile to get your food done just the way you want it. The place may not be aesthetically designed or have an ideal ambiance but forget that for a moment and sit back, sample the range of dishes and listen to some old Malayalam music playing in the background. I can go on and on about the food but suffice it to say that the food is so darn good that it 's probably one of the best Indian meals I 've had at a restaurant. Yes, even when compared to the ones in India. There were a few English diners present there as well who just couldn 't stop complimenting the food and the chef. So now you know it 's not just me saying. Pick the 'Kerala Porotta ' (a soft, layered flat brad made of refined flour), and the 'Beef ularthiyathu ' and you will leave with the knowledge that you have found 'the ' place for this in London. Among others on the menu that I would recommend are the 'chicken stew ' and 'Appam ' (which I think was an Easter special), 'kozhi varuthu curry ', and a fish fry. Look at the menu here and I 'm sure there will be many others that catch your eye. P.S: All the dishes I 've mentioned are from south India, Kerala to be specific."

"Very surprised to read some of the reviews from visitors at TigerBay Shisha and Carlton Lounge as we have always had excellent service and the food is some of the best Indian dishes we have had.We were seated inside the TigerBay Shisha Lounge however as this has open sides all round and even an open roof in warmer days or nights, we felt completely safe and COVID protected. The evening was very busy but had a great atmosphere and we didn’t feel cramped or as if we were too near to other customers. The music especially with the appearance of DJ Shraii gives something a little bit extra special than other venues. All members of staff wore face masks and we noticed they politely reminded any customers to use their masks when not seated at their tables. The food is always hot and you can hear the sizzle plates sizzling as the food is served. Portions are really generous and we usually find it hard choosing from all the delicious dishes on offer. The mocktails are especially good and the fruity versions topped with fresh and sweet fruit. We have not tried the Shisha varieties however talking to people we met last week, they said the choices are good and flavours excellent quality. So even without Shisha being available at the moment under Covid rules, TigerBay Shisha Lounge is a great venue. We are looking forward to spending many more summer evenings especially in the garden area which is beautifully filled with gorgeous plants and makes you feel you are on holiday and not just on an evening out.Keep doing what you do so well TigerBay Shisha and Carlton Lounge."
