"Fabulous food and service. Julian and Chelsea have created an excellent restaurant with a well deserved great reputation. We had our teenage kids in tow as well as my 84 year old French Aunt, all of whom are very choosy about their food. The home ground burgers with homemade buns did not disappoint, my son said it was the best steak he has ever had (and he eats steak whenever we go out) and my Aunt loved the fish of the day. We got talking to the couple on the next table who were on their second visit this holiday and were planning a 3rd before they left the area! Cannot recommend this place enough!"

"During last winter Cafe Tortoni redid their kitchen and spruced up their interior. They are a very popular bar, with outside and inside seating. Their burgers and fries are great, and reasonably priced. Fun place to have a beer or glass of wine and people watch. Always a lively crowd!"

"Perfectly located on the must-see and tourist square of Eymet, a wide variety of pancakes, some meats including a very well cooked duck magret accompanied by its potatoes. A little long service due to affluence on Tuesday evenings of summer with the night market, which does not remove anything from quality!"

"We celebrated our first year of moving to Eymet here. We never got to try this place before because of lockdowns and was pleasantly surprised to have a restaurant this good near us all along. It was a warm summer evening when we visited and...we got seated in the courtyard. My partner and I ordered the same lentil and foie gras starter and rossini steak for main. Both beautifully cooked and seasoned. The steak was served with something like a dauphinois potato but more buttery and creamy. I like to cook this dish but can never copy that smell of hot butter you get in a French restaurant. The Bergerac red which they recommended was smooth and mellow at 30 eur. To top it off I had a chocolate mousse cake. It had a hint of saltiness that made the chocolate taste intense. Happy that from now on we don’t need to go all the way to Issegiac for quality food."

"Forget all the 'English' bars and visit a proper French bar with real people enjoying huge plat du jour - real value for money at 9,90 euros. We had duck every time we visited because it was so good. Welcomed by the locals and its a shame we don't speak good French because I think the locals were enjoying some banter and we would like to have joined in. The only thing I could fault was the quantity was so huge it was embarrassing to leave food on your plate."

"This cafe had been recommended to us so we had high expectations. Those expectations were fully met when we entered this bright little coffee shop and we greeted by a warm and friendly proprietor. The decor is bright clean and chic. The selection of items...on offer is varied and seem just right for breakfast or light lunch. The food is nicely cooked and the prices are fair. The selection of home cooked cakes were wonderful and taste as good as they look. This cafe is open all year round which is a definite bonus when so many venues in Eymet disappear when the cold weather arrives. There is a warm feel to this place, its homely, the owners are friendly and you are made to feel welcome."

"Correct meals; more for fries that are a swan underneath. Very slow service despite an average affluence. The chef is alone in the kitchen, the room staff consists of two non-professional seasons and the boss, today, drinks the aperitif on the terrace. Friendly staff and boss. The health card was checked. Maybe we fell a bad day. Too bad because with a kitchen comis and a better-trained room staff this establishment would be much more attractive. 2 cups of champagne, 2 tartars (beef and salmon, 2 glasses of Bergerac, 2 gourmet cafés : 68€. Thursday noon (market day to see if the slowness is usual."
