"C'est vraiment un bel endroit à découvrir. Un restaurant aux espaces agréables suivant les saisons. Une très belle carte est proposée à la hauteur du résultat dans l'assiette. Je vous conseille les suggestions de saison. Merci chef ! Un personnel dévoué et une attitude respectueuse envers les clients. Pour y être aller plusieurs fois le service y est toujours agréable. L'ouverture en janvier est très appréciée. A bientôt."

"Very nice atmosphere with a nice top roof is certain. Cooking: 2 dishes on the more disposable map (sleeve and turbo), a good tuna tartar but not unbelievable (reworking seasoning), the smoked ox carpaccio much too salty (not the fault of parmesan it comes from salaison) and the milanese tin really fat. The eggplant caviar was, on the other hand, delicious, accompaniment. Cocktails at Parisian prices of 12-15 euros therefore not tested. Rather disappointed overall."

"Very good kitchen in a pleasant place. We were very well advised for the wine. I recommend the formula at 29€ and its mulet carpaccio as well as the seafood risotto. Excellent! As for the service nothing to say despite the number of customers attrated"

"We took a day trip from Bordeaux down to Arcachon, and then onto Cap-Ferrat to sample some of the world’s best oysters. Chez Boulan is about a minute walk away from the main port that you arrive at, but it’s a wonderful walk that...takes you past lots of boutiques and restaurants. We chose Chez Boulan due to its great reviews, and we were not disappointed! We hadn’t thought to book in advance, but we arrived an hour or so before they were due to close for lunch (they close at and reopen at for dinner) and they had a few spots outside for us to choose from. This dining experience really was like nothing else. The primary dish on offer are oysters (they’ve won several awards) but there are prawns, sea snails and whelk on offer too. We sampled the succulent crevettes and they were so sweet and fresh. The oysters that followed were truly like no oyster that we’d ever sampled. You can choose from three sizes and the large ones were absolutely huge! So delicious and fresh washed down with a wonderful dry white wine can’t go wrong! The service was fantastic and the view and outside set up was just extraordinary. It felt like a little slice of paradise for me. A wonderful dining experience that I’ll treasure forever."

"Correct table report quality prices last year, 2018 marks a turning point with a new team in the stove and simply: That's great! There are several meals made this year and dishes always up to the title and well-worked quality products. Careful presentation and taste in the mouth, what else?! Only problem, a formula from noon to less than 15€ and it is 2 minutes from work! It's not gonna help the greedy I keep the line. Come on, guys, let go, my grandpa have fun!"

"The view is beautiful, it is true. Even if the dishes are good... and we are in the cap ferret, the prices are rather high. our rating reflects the value for money. we have had a good time but do not advise the address given the prices practiced"

"It is the restaurant not to be missed in the Cap Ferret. First of all, for his first-line situation in front of the pilat dune. Then because it is good (turbo extra) and not very expensive for such a known establishment. If you opt for the second service you will have to accept to wait a bit for your table."

"Very nice restaurant. Perfect welcome with great kindness to accommodate us with our 2 small dogs, a big thank you for that. The dishes arrive quickly, the service is efficient, the dishes delicious. I would have liked a little more choice in draft beer but that's details. Very happy with our visit, we recommend the setting, the dishes, the kindness of all the staff."

"Clearly the best place to get out at the Ferret. Ambiance to the rendezvous, elegant and sleek setting, music endiablée and especially the whole team is ADORABLE: special mention to Nico who gives us the feeling of being members of the White family every time we come: In short run you will not be disappointed. Thanks again to the whole team for these wonderful evenings. Long live next."

"This is such a lovely place. To start at the beginning, the first time we went here for dinner this summer I spoke to the restaurant manager about my food intolerances (onions and garlic) and how this limits choice for me. Right! He said. Just give us 4 days’ notice and you can have anything you want. So I do. And I can. Pure heaven. Their gratineed oysters, normally so garlicky, for me come with a non garlic herby lemony butter. Glorious. The tartare of salmon and avocado comes for me without shallots. Fabulous. The scallops and mash with that strong meat jus comes for me with a jus made without onions or garlic. Amazing. You get the picture. They are lovely, and wonderfully accommodating. And it is such a lovely place to be. And we have a new habit 4 days before we want to dine we go to their wonderful bar and have a cocktail whilst ordering my next meal. When I mentioned to a member of staff how wonderful they are she said but it is normal! No, I am afraid it is not. So few restaurants are prepared to go out of their way like this. Maison du Bassin, you are exceptional. I thank you so much."

"Lunch on a Saturday; terrace filled with, visibly, regulars, which is a good (and reassuring) sign. We were in a hurry; This was good, the service was fast. Only one dish taken: a fish ans schips: well, in my opinion, excellent. Crispy breading (almost a shell), very fresh fish, finely spiced with a tasty little homemade sauce, and accompanied by delicious fresh fries. I'm not a regular at fish ans schips. I ate it twice in Bordeaux. One in an Irish pub, the other in an English pub. Honorable. But the fish ans schips of this Saturday, the fish ans schips of Lège, was much superior... Bravo."

"We stopped by the restaurant to have a quick lunch, and to rest a bit after traveling from Bordeaux. We were given a menu, but that was the last we saw to the waiters. They passed our table three times when trying to get their...attention, after the third time we decided that if she passes a fourth time without taking our order, we would simply leave. The fourth time we were passed up we left. On my way out, I noticed a sign in French saying If you have something nice to say, write it on Tripadvisor. If not, say it to our face Well, in order for that to happen we would have to be noticed. There were two or three waiters for six-seven tables so not exactly rush hour. Fortunately, we found a terrific place just down the street."

"We found this restaurant last summer and loved it. in the area where we returned to this restaurant with our family. well located restaurant with beautiful terrace. a beautiful map of tapas, salads, fish and meat. the dishes are excellent and copied. servers are friends for you and for small care. servers have adapted for dessert by offering a diabetic person a fruit salad not on the map so a big thank you! everything is clearly gathered to have a good time and we will come back."

"a new year for this restaurant that has been changed to cook or then lost quality. for having lunch the previous year, the dishes have not changed. traditional chorizo mussels were frades, a lack of sauce too light, lots of shell bursts. passable fries. a little disappointed, but let's go, we'll come back next year to make sure the place is there as usual."

"I wish to make a review because it is an excellent restaurant. The kitchen is very good with a deliberately limited map but offering everything we expect from the seaside! The choice of fresh fish, mussels, shrimps and oysters! The price is really very fair, especially when you see the exceptional setting in which you can eat! The waitresses are extremely professional and friendly. The kitchen and room staff is very good. There's a lot of little attention. The chief takes time to greet the clients. I specify for people who only want to drink a drink or eat a dessert, it is possible, but on the terrace next door, on the side of the restaurant! It's a pleasure to return to your establishment."

"Arrived at the restaurant for the service. We booked a table for but were installed on a table that would have normally been for so, we squeezed in between seats to have our meal. We were told that the must here were...the mussels and so we decided to go for a moules frites evening. Ordered two bottles of wine on top of it. Food arrived faster than a sandwich at McDo and in a few minutes the tables were overloaded with big trays of french fries and mussels. Ki fries were placed on top of the only jug of water that was on the table and the bread basket placed on the radiator. We ate the fries and the mussels (must admit that they were good and digging into them was a real pleasure). We asked a few times to the waiters to come and collect the empty shells since it was rather difficult to cope space wise on that little table. At one stage I had to put the dish on the floor so that we could eat since nobody was coming around to collect it. As soon as the mussels and french fried trays were empty, the owner Mme Bernadette came around asking for dessert and literally minutes later the desserts were served at the table. I think that i had times at Mcdonalds where it took longer to have my meal. Ordered the puy d'amour no knowledge on how to present nicely a dessert, pieces of cake with a little custard cream in them, thrown on a dish. We arrived at people, by we were ready to leave the restaurant. The bill came to us as a heart attack, of course the bottles of wine took a tool but... i do not think i have ever seen a bill for of french fries. The evening ended up with a fantastic bill of over We realised that we go there for the view (never saw any of it since our table was in a corner by the entrance) and the chance to meet up with local known people (never saw anyone). Local lifestyle at that price does not fit in our standards, someone in town told us that restaurant is always full and while the food is good, the prices keep going up cos people are willing to pay more and more to go there. Since there is demand there is room for raising prices up. I have been there once, definately will not go a second time. Over priced mussels and french fries, over priced wine. With a bill you expect to get a table for as you booked and not a table for arranged for When we complained to the waitress her reaction was rather stunning these tables are set up by management, no point in talking to the small staff in other words we should have just said we booked for you give us a table for and we will not accept anything else when we arrived. Funny how someone not known by locals is also pushed on a table by the entrance door as well, we had a view of all the people coming and going, lots of them with tails apparently since we had to shout several times to shut the door. We apparently paid for the view that we did not see since it was night time and as i said placed on a table by the entrance..."
