"We have two of our adult children staying with us at our apartment in St Cyprian plage, so trying lots of different restaurants. We have eaten at Le Bounty once before. This time it was a cloudy evening and looked like it might rain. The other restaurants along the seafront were not encouraging people to eat outside, but there were laid tables at Le Bounty and when we asked the owner said...Ah the weather similar to the UK, it will be fine...There were 5 of us....my daughter went for Zarzuela which she said was very good...that was followed by a cheese plate (salad and camembert) and a pudding...tart of the day which was a peach tart...perfect. My son and I had the same...a cold fish plate starter...bulots, mussels, king prawn and oysters followed by monkfish and rice, with the same cheese plate as my daughter. My husband chose avocado and prawn starter...followed by a fish brochette...and the same cheese plate (we are not pudd eaters!)...my sons partner, chose a beef brochette which was very generous...with fries...followed by ice cream. The meals were mainly taken from the 23 euro menu. For apero's there were beers and a couple of champagne cocktails...and a dry muscadet. A bottle of muscat sec for the wine drinkers...and soft drinks for the others. The bill came in around Euros 148 which was pretty good service. Despite a few spots...the rain stayed off and we enjoyed the opportunity to eat outside. Good service, smiley staff, will return."
