"Third time to La Caletta this July (a friend lives there and I've now tried a number of restaurants. I have to say that this has been my favourite. I only discovered it on this visit and myself, my partner and a friend decided to make it our last meal before we left (this is after eating there for the first time two nights before . Really delicious food. The highlights for me were the octopus starter, the most tender octopus I've ever had; the Thai style prawns were delicious, tasty and fragrant. We opted for pasta dishes both times and were not disappointed: spaghetti with clams and with clams and bottarga (very juicy clams and another type of pasta that I can't remember the name of (it was like thick spaghetti with a hole inside, freshly made with prawns (this was my favourite, so very tasty and delicate . We had the white of the house both times, really nice white wine, and the service was great: the young waitress Claudia (I hope I'm remembering her by the correct name was really lovely and went out of her way to translate the menu' to English for my partner and friend (they're both English and I'm usually the one having to do the translating so it was nice to be able to sit back and relax! . She did a great job. On our second visit they also offered us an amaro on the house, which was a lovely gesture. I would say that it has a more refined menu than many places in La Caletta (so not for you if you're looking for chips and pizza and we paid a couple more euros per dish than we would have in other places, but it was definitely worth it as we had nicer food. I will definitely visit them again when I return to La Caletta."
