"Staying at Westleton, we visited the Eels Foot for dinner having been recommended by a friend who lives nearby. There was a roaring fire and a good atmosphere, it's clearly popular with locals as well as B&B guests. And what a treat to eat somewhere without tinny background music! I had pigeon, and they kindly agreed to do it with dauphinoise potato from elsewhere on the menu. It was all excellent. My partner had a halloumi burger, which came with mushrooms as well, and was apparently very good, with plenty of nice fries. I finished with one of the best warm brownies I've had. Good service, reasonably priced, and altogrther an entertaining evening!"

"highly recommended. we lived in aldeburgh and looked for a qualitatiw high quality Indian. because the options are limited, we have a chance to go 10 minutes outside the city, and we are glad that we did. we were a group of 8 and all enjoyed their meal very much. the service and the hospitality were top notch. we would not hesitate to recommend this facility for aldeburgh vacationers who are looking for a quality meal to cheap trips. kay was an excellent host! amble parking steps over the road. I can't beat it."

"the work outside of la vita and the owner came to see if we have starved. we all said we had no money. 10 minutes later a freshly prepared pizza and some drinks for all of us. the pizza was amazing and delicious. for us it is the best take in leiston. because eating was great and the owner is a 5-star emptleman. Thank you."

"I was under the impression that vegan Thursdays would mean mostly vegan food on the menu that wasn't really the case I thought there were 4 options for net. I'm not even sure that the menu was different to any other day of the week. I had the butternut and bean felt packages that were good, but nothing special. My partner had the Kichererbsburgs, I had an attempt and it was so salty that it was almost impossible. Other feedback was that the cauliflower vegan dish was also good and the cod was embarrassing. All expensive at around £18 per main. I think there were 1 or 2 vegan desserts. I think we enjoyed the desserts more than the main thing. I would expect a much higher quality for the price. "Amazing food! The burgers were cooked to perfection and the onion marmalade with Brie was a great topping! For dessert I had the sticky toffee pudding, which was a must at this time of year. This dessert went above and beyond my expectations; I am confident that this is the best sticky toffee pudding in Suffolk! This restaurant/pub is very dog friendly as ours was treated just like any other customer. I love that the staff asked if it was okay to bring him treats over too, to which we said yes! Basil definitely wants to go back ASAP.The atmosphere here was so friendly and peaceful. We felt very relaxed and at ease. A final shout out to the staff who were attentive, polite and friendly. Also, we would like to thank the chef(s) for their immaculate food. We’ll definitely be popping back before our staycation ends!"
