"Italian style aperitivi are very rare indeed in Paris, so we were looking forward to coming here. The place itself is a small shop selling Italian products, which has an aperitivo with live music on Thursday and Saturday evenings. Given the lack of space, tables and chairs are put outside on the pavement, which is good considering the heat. You pay for a glass of anything (wine/spritz/soft-drink for 7.50 euros, then can go and serve yourselves to food as many times as you wish. Wine was served in normal sized glasses, however those of us who ordered spritz were disappointed, as they were served in the same tiny glass, full of ice, so it ends up less than half the size an Italian spritz would be! The vino frizzante was flat, given that we were served the dregs from two open and almost empty bottles. Most disappointing of all was the food on offer, not particularly Italian at all, except for a plate of pizzette. The products on sale in the shop were obviously good quality, but the things on offer for the aperitivo were very banal and similar to each other (pasta salads, etc . We would have prefered paying a few extra euros and having more variety and quality food-wise. Having live music was good, but most people commented there was no need for the amp/microphone in such a small place because we could hardly hear ourselves speak, and it was sometimes quite hard on the ears All in all, a nice place and a nice idea, but we were so disappointed with the food and drink on offer we won't be back. Unless they put the price up and improve the food! (and serve spritz in decent spritz glasses...."
