"Unlike many other Michelin recommended restaurants that take the refined route, this one prefers simplicity and quantity (one of the characteristics of Lyon's restaurants). The waiters were very nice. One girl noticed that my napkin had fallen to the floor (I didn't even notice it myself) and took the initiative to hand me a new one. Appetizer Velouté de butternuts: Pumpkin soup, which tastes more like a pumpkin milkshake. The pumpkin blends with cream clear cheese and it tastes very smooth. The toast with a light garlic flavor adds a layer of depth, and you can finish it smoothly one sip after another. Main course Blanquette de veau: Braised lamb in white sauce. The waiter brought the stew pot directly to the table, and the portion was generous. I tasted the white sauce first. It was quite sour. It seemed that a lot of lemon juice was added, which just tempered the greasy taste of the white sauce. The basmati rice that came with the meal was served in a mini casserole. It looked small but was actually quite filling. There are at least 10 tablespoons of it. Ingeniously, the chef sprinkled some fried brown rice grains on top of the white rice, adding color, aroma and texture to the rice. Dessert: Paris Brest. For dessert, I chose the puff pastry, which had a special note to be ordered when initially ordering. I thought, wow, the puff pastry is freshly baked, but the whole thing was cold when it was served. But it’s delicious. The hazelnut filling is smooth but not sweet, and the puff pastry sprinkled with powdered sugar has just the right sweetness. It’s a pity that the filling also contains super sweet caramel, otherwise it would be perfect. . But it seems that the traditional way is to have caramel inside. It is a restaurant worth recommending and making people want to return. I hope it will be renovated and reopened soon"
