"The Barrel Oak is for sure one of the best bars I've ever been too, the location is perfect right next to the train station, bus stops and hotels. It has lovely seats outside surrounded by a roof just in case it rains. The Barrel Oak always plays Premier League games and is a must go place if you are interested in watching high quality games on the 3 tv's and one big screen projector while enjoying a great collection of high quality beer. There are dart boards if football is not your forte. There are a high quantity of seats varying from 1 people stools at the bar to 10-15 people seats which means no matter what the group size the Barrel Oak will always have enough seats. There is a wide choice of good alcohol; wine, beer, champagne, shots of liquor, delicious cocktails and shakers which they even make custom for you! The staff is always willing to make your experience there very enjoyable, they are always willing to listen and speak with you as well as give you advice on the food and drinks. The food at the Barrel Oak is the best in Montreux, they make a wide variety of food from big burgers to spicy chicken wings. I have never been disappointed from a meal. Overall this is the number 1 bar to be at wether its with friends on a night out or for a family dinner, the service is always top quality, the staff are the kindest people you will meet. There is nothing other than great vibes at this place topping it off with a fantastic view of the lake. If you are ever in Montreux, this is a must visit place on your list."

Went here one night, very happy with our choice. Hung out for a few hours and had burgers and sandwiches and a few beers. Price was very reasonable for Switzerland. Staff was friendly. Would recommend highly.

This tapas sports bar is a lively pleasant place, excellent for a group or couples, with big screens for the sports fans. The food is fresh, varied and flavoursome. The tapas are delicious. The beers great. Buy a 3L beer tower for your table! The views from the back of the bar overlook picturesque Lake Gevena.

A great bar with amazing burgers and great tasting beer. Also if you get a table by the window you get a spectacular view looking out over Montreux. Only negative comment I have is there was rather long wait for food and only one waitress working but definitely worth a visit. Also great atmosphere and great music played in the background
