Bay Horse Inn - Speisekarte

Lovely weather, perfect for a spot of lunch outside, only to be told we hadn 't got enough staff but you can eat inside we had a drink outside then went else where to eat disappointed

I have visited this restaurant multiple times now and every time, the food and service have been excellent. It is definitely worth the trip! The setting is lovely, the restaurant is clean, and the staff are friendly.

Called with family for Sunday lunch and found pub welcoming with open fire burning and pleasant staff.food generally good however was served a burnt Yorkshire pudding and when pointed out nothing was done about it,other than that it does have good vegan selection which went down well with my nieces Speisekarte ansehen

We have visited this pub several times, but this year we weren't sure if we could host people at home for Christmas dinner, so we decided to make a reservation. The meal was fantastic, we were not disappointed at all and we highly recommend it. Judith and the team made our visit extra special, and we can't wait to come back again soon.

Booked for dinner for the last night of our canal holiday. Perfect way to finish the week. A warm friendly welcome from the waitress who couldn't do enough. Good choice of beer. And wow, the food was fantastic. Really good quality delivered quickly. Would highly recommended this pub by the canal if you are passing, or even just nearby.

We visited the Bay Horse for lunch and I have to say it was pretty average. Whilst the staff were friendly, they were clearly overrun. They have a variety of good options on the menu and they are well priced. The food came out in good time; however it was cold and had bits missing (e.g. the Wagyu burger was advertised with onion rings but they didn 't come out). We asked the waitress who simply said oh sorry, my fault, I forgot to bring them out! ......Apart from that it is a nice friendly pub. We have been looking for a good place for family meals since my elderly Dad has got a bit less able to drive distances and get about. The Bay Horse is close ish to his home in Skipton so we tried it twice this last week. Once midweek and once on Sunday, both times for lunch. We love it. Good and easy parking. Good food, and great staff. They really make you welcome and look after you well. Even my dog got his own water dish and biscuits under our table, and a dish for left overs when we had finished. The atmosphere has been very pleasant on both of our visits quiet but reasonably busy both times, but staff very helpful and friendly even when busy. Excellent all round.

I had a gift voucher for Vintage Inns, so while we were on a short break in Skipton, we decided to have a relaxed evening out with a nice meal. We made a reservation for 7pm and our food and drink orders were taken within 30 seconds. Our starters arrived less than a minute later, and our mains came shortly after we finished the starters. After our mains were cleared, we were asked to order dessert, but we requested a break. The waitress eventually took our dessert order, and we realized we were the only customers left in the restaurant as they started to turn off the lights around us. Popped in for lunch with my wife and daughter on Saturday. Oh dear, what a dreadful mistake! It 's been ages since we came here, but I had always been a fan of all Vintage Inns but now I would think twice about any, and certainly won 't be back to the Bay Horse.After waiting ages for the food (about an hour and it wasn 't busy at all), we were served;Rump Steak Sandwich the steak was cold, pea shoot garnish was withered and drying up, looking like a pile of weeds after a day 's gardening. The steak was tough and chewy not overcooked just poor quality. The chips were hot, suggesting to me that they had somehow forgot them and that the sandwich had gone cold whilst they cooked the chips. Incid... Speisekarte ansehen
