"Remarkably poor food, ambiance, service…. Evening Christmas menu. Firstly the food: a flat shop bought pastry case with tiny frozen prawns followed by tiny portions of cold turkey on mediocre veg cold plate and Tesco own brand stick toffee pub with a micro scoop of ice cream. Next ambiance: cold, bare no table decoration/crackers, clinical lighting, empty and cold . Service: slow and disinterested no wonder they are empty! Pricing: the on line menu shows you are overpaying you can’t get to the £28/£35 they charge…. with no extras at all! No coffee and mince pies/ crackers/ bread even. Honestly though it wasn’t the price it was the letdown food rest of menu: my husband had chewy steak, the fish is coley !! . We were there on the last Friday before Christmas and it was empty one other table!speaks volumes. Avoid"

During a family reunion, we ordered four quite different dishes: the Fish Platter, Soup Sandwich, and two options from the vegetarian section. Everyone was very pleased with their meals!

Really lovely food and great service. Really excellent value with a great range of breakfast options. The only small issue was that it was quite cold it may just be as the weather was so bad.
