Buonissimo Restaurant

Excellent food and exemplary service all at a very reasonable price. The fish is beautifully cooked and the belly pork a classic. This place never lets you down.

Avoid this place like the plague. Any italien restaurant that has no parmesan just cheddar and doesn’t use the right rice for risotto should be forced to close. The spaghetti was worse than something out of a cheap economy tin.

The owner and his wife provide the most amazing welcome , with smiles that light up the room . The staff are all so attentive and helpful . The food was truly excellent , home made, authentic and fresh . One of the best Italian meals I have had in a long time . Delicious Speisekarte ansehen

Dropped our teenagers to a gig at the O2 academy. Then googled restaurants near me Buonissimo came up after loads of fast food type places, in Harborne. Had good reviews so we went for it. What luck, what a find, just wish was nearer to home. Modern contemporary surroundings, great maitre de and waiting staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Also clearly excellent staff cooking mouth watering beautiful, tasty fresh Italian food in the kitchen. Throughly recommend it, the nicest meal we've had out this year!

We eat here a lot; the food and service are great. However, this time was a bit different. I had one of those birthdays with a ‘0’ on the end and we decided to invite some friends for dinner. The welcome was lovely (they'd even managed to cope with guests who came an hour early! . Our group was 12, seated upstairs and wonderfully served by Sylvia and the team. The service was seamless and the food (from the party menu absolutely delicious. Kudos to Mark in the kitchen for getting it all out together. We had a wonderful evening – thank you!

A friendly enough greeting but that’s where it stops The soup had so much inedible husks or something similar as impossible to eat. Waitress said sorry and would not charge friends risotto starter was not made with risotto rice. wet and bland. asked for parmesan and told there wasn’t any but had something similar Next course. Italian spaghetti. surely this should pass as its an Italian restaurant. sadly not. bland over cooked and wet all in all dreadful. Was so looking forward to an Italian meal hey ho. asked if the chef was italian. an assistant said yes from Modena. Dont they make cars there Speisekarte ansehen

Myself and my husband have dined here many times and always loved it. Tonight was a totally different experience, we arrived at 8.30 and waited an hour for a starter which was bruschetta, hardly needs a lot of prep! When it eventually arrived, mine was just a roughly chopped up baguette with a garlic globe. I watched while waiting for this starter, three people including the owner , clean a table. Really!!! Their time would be better spent concentrating on the customers. The main was sooo disappointing too. I had belly pork and after several attempts to cut the cracking I gave up. Surely that's the best bit. Sadly we won’t be returning

We had an amazing celebratory meal for my parents golden wedding anniversary this weekend and everyone commented on how lovely this restaurant was, from the delicious food, great wine to the friendly warm service. We chose the venue as its my parents favourite restaurant generally but we were still so delighted how well they dealt with the large party and food was just as good quality as ever, organising it in advance was also made v easy with them and great to have some prosecco on arrival! It was great we had a menu of 4 choices per course and didnt have to pre-order and also the 2 younger children were well catered for too in lovely flexible way. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

The night didn 't get off to a good start as we were seated upstairs which was empty except for us so the atmosphere was non existent we felt treated like second class citizens. We were told there would be other people arriving but they never did. My partner asked for the vegan menu to be told there wasn 't one. When I insisted it was showing on line they suddenly found it! I had the bruschetta as a starter all I could taste was raw garlic a lump of which was in my salad. The wine was very good as was the bream I had for the main course. My partner described his vegetarian dish as weird with random large lumps of unidentifiable vegetables. We 've eaten here before had a great time but this w... Speisekarte ansehen
