Lovely setting and good service, but dreadful basic food unworthy of France. The town square itself has a lovely buzzing atmosphere and the waiters are all very friendly and on point. We made the best of it despite the worst chèvre salade (with loads of raw mushrooms) and a very average steak frites. We'd opt for somewhere else next time quality over quantity.

Fantastic evening! Such a popular prime spot and did not disappoint! We visit with our 3 children and with it being so busy we expected to have to be patient for food etc, we were primed to just soak up and enjoy the atmosphere. I think it helped that we arrived in the square about 9pm so a little after the main service . Although busy and we had to wait for a table our waitress was super attentive and helpful. All of our meal were delicious and in a perfect setting.

already at the reception we had no good impression: rude and unprofessional staff. we ordered some fish that arrived uncooked. the children ordered two simple pizzas to the tomato. pizzas without tomato and also burned. After our remonstrations the same pizzas were literally covered with uncooked tomato sauce....result ....immangiabili. The waiter, rude from the beginning, took her away from the mouth. they also had the courage to charge one. not having the desire to discuss further I preferred to pay but I strongly discourage this place, both for the quality of food and the poor professionalism of the staff. My family is from the region. I have lived here for 25+ years and have been eating in restaurants all this time. The quality of food anywhere there are tourists is really shameful though and this restaurant is a perfect example. We love eating out in Valbonne and love the central sqaure, but unfortunately cannot go back to this restaurant anymore. (we have been numerous times). I've eaten most of the dishes on the menu, looking for something safe and consistent to order. We have given up trying though.
