Toujours un délice. Des saveurs recherchées. En entrée une soupe, (aujourd’hui crème de lentilles) ou une salade verte, puis le plat principal toujours à tomber.

60-70 Prozent der Hauptgerichte sind vegan, und es gab 2 vegane Desserts. Ich hatte den gegrillten Cashew-Käse ('Tomme'-Stil) auf einem Spinatbett und mit Pilzen. Es war total erstaunlich. Auch das Risotto und die Quinoa-Buddha-Schale sahen toll aus. Lebhafte Atmosphäre. Im Gebäude gibt es auch ein Theater und ein Kino. Es gibt dort auch Ausstellungen und andere Veranstaltungen, oft mit veganem Essen serviert. Sehr empfehlenswert.

We were pleasantly surprised to see they have quite a few very creative and flavourful vegan options. We ordered the Salade Automnale' and the Blini's aux châtaignes' which had some salad, scones and cheese (from a local vegan cheese shop), really nice. They also have some vegan main dishes, such as seitan and a burger. And a vegan dessert! They open till late, the decoration is welcoming and the service was great. This restaurant is a cozy restaurant and a great option especially after an art event or movie in Grütli. Almost half of the menu is vegan (they have hearts set to display which), but it is more on the expensive side. Last year I would have given five launches to this restaurant, as there really had creative options, big deserts and one of the best tofu dishes I had in a while, but last time I saw that quality has dropped while prices rose so that I would think twice today.

Das war eine wundervolle Erfahrung. Das Café du Grütli setzt sich für eine ethische und nachhaltige Küche ein. Obwohl sie Fleisch und andere tierische Produkte servieren, die nicht gut zu diesem ethischen Ansatz passen, scheinen sie zu erkennen, dass es ein Argument für den Veganismus gibt und haben den Großteil ihres Angebots vegan gemacht. Das Essen war göttlich. Veganer erleben nicht sehr oft eine feindliche Erfahrung, aber das war definitiv eine dieser seltenen Ausnahmen. Auf jeden Fall ausprobieren für eine etwas andere vegane Erfahrung.
