"we have visited this restaurant on many stops when we visit France. it serves good eating at a fair price, with mostly good service. but they have to sit where we say was experienced as others have commented. the most recent visit was one of the worst. experiences in all my years of travel. I paid with a mastercard that worked perfectly (many transactions before and since) pin entered and code bon. then the waitress went away and said nothing, no quitting. they then appeared after one waiting and made a lot of paper coming out of the machine that they all screwed. it followed minutes full of embarrassment when we had to feel like criminals. first I was told that there was no reception, no problem, but then we have to wait. a phone was handed over to me and a manager who was absent tried to talk to me, but the phone failed, removed from the reception? after another waiting and ignored we went to the restaurant, (we had eaten outside, on a table far from the recipe, the distance was the problem and was first told by a waiter (good English) that we had paid but then no. he changed his mind that he was not safe. it was always more unpleasant and I said I would like to record what was said and I tried, but a waitress tried to push my phone away. then I was told that we had to pay “Again” they would review and refund if this was a duplicate. very concerned and thought that might be a kon, I said no and left my email address for them to check and contact me. I spent the evening and the next day worried about the events that had occurred. the manager contacted me and said we didn't pay. I have replied that I have to check my card statement, I would pay, by bank transfer or send a leak. a copy of this review was sent to the manager before she tripadviser the managers answer was “I understand that her dinner in our restaurant was not a good experience and I’m sorry.” he included details of his personal bank account so that I could pay. my bank warned me against a payment to a personal account. a complaint sent to the office received a response that only said they were aware, but the manager was. I have brought the bill back to the restaurant since through a leak. I will never visit the arte again. there was simply no understanding how to make card payments and that a visit should be a pleasant experience. That was terrible. the predominant majority of my reviews is positiw. However, a record must be made by this visit."
