"Exploring the outskirts of Leeds led me to discover the gem that is Corarima, a gluten free, vegan haven in Wakefield. As someone currently navigating a gluten free journey, stumbling upon this Abyssinian vegan/gluten free restaurant was a true delight. Opting for the combination platter for two was a journey through a sensory layer cake a symphony of tastes and smells expertly presented. We embraced the experience, relishing the deliciousness with our hands, a practice met with the owner's delighted approval. The host, a charming and attentive soul, took us on a culinary tour, passionately detailing each dish. He was so warm, Friendly and attentive without being over bearing. The decor added to the warmth, creating a homely ambiance that made this dining experience extraordinary. In the realm of UK dining, Corarima has secured its spot among our favorites. It's more than a restaurant; it's a rare and complete experience, a testament to the charm and authenticity of Abyssinian cuisine. I wish we lived closer as we’d visit regularly for sure! Dietary restrictions: I’ve recently had to go gluten free whilst also being vegan so it was wonderful to relax knowing that the menu was accommodating of my dietary requirements Kid friendliness: Whilst we were dining a family arrived with a young baby and the host was so charming and attentive with the baby. Engaging with the baby as if it was any other diner (even offering to take his order)!"

"The menu at Taste Buds Wakefield may not be extensive, and if you're looking for a hot cooked meal, this might not be the place for you. However, if you're in the mood for a delicious bacon or sausage butty, a toasted panini, or some amazing baked treats, then this is definitely worth a visit. The staff, two lovely ladies, were extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure that our visit was memorable. They took great care of us from start to finish. Even my picky niece was pleased with her deconstructed bacon, sausage, and egg sandwich. My cheese and pickle sandwich was pre-packed, which was a bit disappointing, but everything else, including the coffee, was excellent. I'm sure we'll be back soon to indulge in those delicious brownies."

"I used to visit this place years ago when the previous owner ran it and the food, service and portions were Fantastic. Then I moved away. I visited Wakefield today and thought I’d call in, and I ordered a chicken curry on the bone and chapatis. The bowl of curry was small and only half full, also there it was on the bone, so even less meat. I was absolutely shocked and had to mention this to the lady serving. Her answer was every where else is more expensive than here, with a smirk. I was stuck for words. I ate my curry in less than 2 minutes, paid and left. What a rip off. She clearly knew what she was doing. You can’t bump the prices up and decrease the portions! Even the take away curry portions in the plastic containers were half full. Never again!"

"I had booked the royal spice but due to a very sad bereavement the restaurant was closed so went here instead. Service was chaotic to say the least even though there were only a handful of people in drinks order had to ask twice and wrong drink came. Poppadoms soft and chewy curries came two were wrong had to go back. One of our party had a nut allergy asked for a curry without nuts or could the curry she wanted be prepared without nuts answer no so what can I have a plate of chips! Really in this day and age nut allergies are quite common. I had to call the waiters at least twice from the other side of the room whilst they chatted together. I guess by the amount of people in the restaurant says it all really."
