"This restaurant is in the basement of the Doubletree Hotel, something I didn't know when I made my reservation. My husband and I went on a Friday night and we were the only people in the restaurant. As we were getting ready to leave, a man came in to dine alone (presumably a hotel guest). The food is okay, except for my lentils that had a horrible burnt taste, but its overpriced given the total lack of atmosphere and the quality and quantity of food served. The only reason I can think of that anyone would want to dine here is if you've just arrived to London from some far off destination and are too jet-lagged to leave your hotel."

Be aware the Fire Spice is a hotel restaurant in a basement and therefore no windows. They could do so much more with the space and the décor to make it less like a staff canteen.
