Decided to try the Fort for Saturday Lunch after some serious shopping. Had been in several times before for drinks but never to eat. Its a really nice bar in central Broughty, service was good and the food was good without being expensive, steak pie was fab.

we went to Mother's Day and had a big party (9 even, with 4 children). they put us in the beer garden, which was good, a little cool, but completely feasible. the food was nice, burgers are delicious and the fish and chips were also popular. the desserts were also good, all in all a beautiful, inexpensive pub menu.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the fort in Broughty Ferry. It is a wonderful place with a delicious breakfast and an excellent Italian restaurant. The beer selection is also fantastic. We were pleased to hear that they are preparing to open a wine bar as well. It's great to have a variety of tastes all in one location. Speisekarte ansehen

Visited with our daughter for lunch on a weekday. It is fair to say all three of us were underwhelmed. Service was very good throughout and we had no issues whatsoever other than with the food offering. The dishes were we felt rather bland and the cardboard chips in particular were way below the standard we expect. We shall return but will avoid the burger and breaded fish and those dreadful chips!! All in all you can do better, Fort Bar.

Staff are great, very helpful. Room was very clean and quiet. In a c-19 environment they are definitely looking after the resident. Great value, good selection of lagers and the odd cask. Centre of town five mins walk from the beach. I was lucky with parking but there’s plenty of street parking within easy reach. I didn’t eat here but it looked great. I even found live sport around the corner (see photo) Great place in a great “superb” of Dundee.

first visit in the new beer garden with friends to lunch. easy booking system, confirmed with an email. friendly staff, track and track to use at the entrance with gels. sat at the table with a swing seat. order drinks and wrote our selection of food on a sheet only tickle the boxes on what they need. we had steak pea, fish n chips and baked carrots with thunfish, all freshly made and delicious. a light raindrop and the roofings over us were used just before the heavens were opened. the lights came on deck and sides and made a luvly atmosphere that listened to the rain. a very pleasant lunch / afternoon had from all. will return.
