Valentino's Wakefield

A very nice family meal with attentive servers and good food. The one moan I have is with the bacon on my burger! This was the smallest, thinnest rasher I have ever seen (leave alone paid £1 extra for) in my life. I've seen thicker parma ham. I don't do photos so you'll have to go and see for yourself.

On Friday, May 20th, we felt welcomed as soon as we arrived at the restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. The food was delicious and the service was quick. The restaurant was clean and inviting, making for a very enjoyable evening. Thank you.

I came here a few days ago for my 21st birthday meal and it was fantastic. The food was amazing and the staff were extremely friendly with excellent customer service. Great place place to eat anytime.the staff are friendly and efficient. Not a long waiting time. We had a table for 3, my son is Autistic and cant handle too much noise. The staff were great in giving us a table to the side without us having to ask. I found that very respectfull. The food I'd absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend to anyone to try.

From the moment we walked in I would fate this as excellent. The staff were very polite and attentive. The food from starter to desert was out of this world. This was one of the best meals in a restaurant I have had in years. We were a party of 8 adults and 4 children, everyone was catered for on the menu with a good variety on the children’s menu. Great night great food will definitely be paying another visit to here. Well done.

The dining experience was delightful, the wine selection was excellent, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. They suggested some large cocktails that were 2 for 1, which was a great deal. I highly recommend checking out this beautiful restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere and lovely decor. They were even willing to change our reservation time when we requested it, showing great flexibility. While most of the staff were friendly, one seemed hesitant and slightly rude about accepting Scottish banknotes, but eventually did so, which was appreciated. Went here for a meal as a couple on the 9th July. Arrived early, table wasn't ready but was greeted with a warm welcome and sat down at the bar. Table was sorted super efficiently. Food was nice but not the best italian food I have tasted. Dropped a star off as although everyone was friendly there was a lack of charisma, experience smiles amongst a young waiting staff. However, a special mention to who I believe was the manager (Young lady with glasses), it was clear she had great passion for not only delivering a great customer experience but also could see fantastic training of the young staff taking place. I am sure in no time that the waiting staff here will be upto a brilliant standard...

I want to start by saying I am not the type of person to complain unless I have genuinely experienced bad service. I recognise with the best of intentions that things can go wrong. That said, the experience I had this evening was so dire and the gesture I was given was, in my opinion, was so inadequate, I feel a strong complaint is warranted. I booked a table for this evening for my birthday, and brought with me 9 close members of my family. We ordered drinks and when a waitress brought them to the table, she split a pint of lager over my back and on my 8 year old child. My new grey coat was covered and I'll have to pay for dry cleaning as it is not machine washable. My brand new black jacke...

What has happened to Valentino's? I have eaten here in the past and although it has never been perfect, it's still been a nice place to eat, not anymore! I decided to book a table for two, for my girlfriend and myself to celebrate our first year anniversary knowing it can be quite a romantic setting, how I was wrong. To start we were seated by a member of staff who dumped our menu's on the table before walking away without taking a drinks order or even handing the menu to us. When coming to take the order, my girlfriend asked if the cheese in the Antipasti was goats cheese, the waiter said he would check and continued to take the order.
