Ivory Arch has the patchy charm of a roadside eatery in a developing country somewhere.

I have two friends who are straight-edge vegetarians and they've brought me here several times.

I tried the Wrath of Khan at this restaurant and it was absolutely fantastic! If you enjoy very spicy curries, this dish is a must-try. The restaurant is located in a hidden spot under an arch, so make sure to keep an eye out for it or you might pass right by.

My wife and I found this place by complete chance and it is definitely NOT your run of the mill Indian restaurant. Located under a railway arch it has cool, ambient lighting and bags of character. All curries, sides, breads and rice were cooked to...perfection! Compliments to the chef as well as the owner who was a real character and great host. The only negative is that we didn't discover this place earlier! Top class all round. We will definitely going back with friends. Speisekarte ansehen

Great little place tucked away in the corner of E&C. We went on a Sunday when desperately hungry La Bodeguita was kicking off with live music and we wanted somewhere a bit quieter. However, accidentally stumbled into yet more live music with Ivory Arch's Soulful Sundays'. Food was great the chicken Jalfrezi had the perfect level of spice, the king prawns were brill. All round worth noting down as _a decent curry in South london_And in a nice setting too. We managed to eat and leave before Soulful Sundays properly got going but the large local crowd that had gathered made the restaurant look like a cosy staple of the community.Saying that, it looks as though it can be pretty quiet on another...

Stopped in at this restaurant coming back from sightseeing. The food is very good and a reasonable value for the money spent; however, the service we had was so slow as to be glacier-paced. At one point I thought our waiter had perhaps become ill...and left the restaurant and no one had informed us and then I spotted him waiting on another table. Though our meal had been put in a good minutes before the other group they and another couple were served first. So I started thinking perhaps these people were regulars and they always ordered the same thing, coming in the same time every night, perhaps they had called their order ahead realizing the place was a bit slow; but the fact I was coming...
