John's Todi - Speisekarte

Absolutely delicious food, if you are in Todi and wanting a feast you have to book a table at Johns. An absolute must is the truffle pasta with cheese.

Posto tranquillo, fuori Todi. Bello spazio esterno. Indubbiamente cibo di qualità (ottima la tagliata). Non aspettatevi piatti eccessivamente sofisticati però

It’s great to see John and Elena back in action at their beautiful new restaurant. This is the fourth venue of theirs we have been to over the last years and they have consistently provided the best dining experience in Todi (and much further...afield). Congratulations on your wonderful new venture !

Every time we have visited Italy for the past years we have eaten at John’s it is always a highlight of our trip. But this time we went to his new restaurant at home. The setting is divine and the design and detail...of the restaurant is first class, with exterior seating and a lovely air conditioned interior. The quality of the food wine are even better (if possible). A joyful experience and very reasonably priced.

We've followed John around Todi for many years and always enjoyed his cooking. But now his game has changed and very much for the better. The new restaurant is on the outskirts of Todi it is much larger and has ample parking. Best of...all the food is spectacular. I had pasta with porcini, my wife had carpaccio di manzo. Main course was lamb chops . All cooked to perfection and generous portions. Service was excellent. We are so excited about it and we will be back soon.

we came after a recommendation from friends and we owe them great time. this was the first restaurant on our Umbria trip and even after a week it was the top of our lists. eating was amazing. I loved the use of the local ingredients in the various dressed (juniiper truffle,) the quality of pasta and meat. the recommendation of a local wine was exceptional with the food that was served. it was so good and we were happy that we could meet john and thank him personally. Don't miss them.

John's new restaurant is fabulous. . The new restaurant allows for luxurious indoor seating and beautiful comfortable outdoor seating. The price fix fish dinner was a feast for the eyes and the senses . It was easy to imagine we were next to the...sea with the freshest catches being brought to our table instead of being in the beautiful Umbrian countryside. His cheesecake dessert is a light heavenly composition closer to a mousse, which was the perfect ending with an espresso to a very memorable evening. We will be back!

I had my first experience with john years ago when he worked for a restaurant in todi and then followed him wherever he went. I was thrilled to discover that he had opened his own restaurant in todi. we chose his restaurant to celebrate my birthday with other friends. we started with appetizers pecorino fondue with crispy prosciutto on roasted brot and sweet, ripe pfirsichen on fresh greens layered. followed by the world-famous cacio and pepe with roasted and fresh truffles, then fills mignon with black truffles. for Dessert-Halbfriddo (art of soft ice with sweet carmelized mangles and caramel) he should have a Michael star (maybe two) everything was perfect, from service to squisite eating...
