"I made a reservation from my home in Montreal, 3 weeks ahead of time and received a confirmation. When we arrived at the restaurant at the appointed time, the owner, a lady told us haughtily that she never received the reservation, that she received too many demands on the Internet to look them over, that she confirmed her reservation by phone only, even North American reservations, that she was fully booked and impatiently pushed us through the door. Thus, if you make a reservation from a foreign country, BEWARE, make a paper copy of your confirmation. Obviously, this lady prefers to ignore foreign reservations to favour local clients that she is sure will show up. Obviously, I cannot make any more comments since I did not have the opportunity to taste the food."

Great service, great meal, great value. We took the seafood dish of the day. Thoroughly recommended!

We had a wonderful meal in this excellent restaurant. The menu was seasonal and delicious, and the wine selection was good. The service was friendly and efficient, and my gluten free requirements were well understood. Highly recommended!

visit early May 2022. menu at 17 euros with a very affordable glass of wine. fish or meat with foam vegetables, a great taste and a very sufficient quantity. a dessert offered: the Catalan cream, the damage, two ice balls could have satisfied those who do not like. Welcome. Nothing to say.

furnishing and decoration of the terrace quite disparate and without charm. a little cozy kitchen, mixing veal meat and seafood for the entrance that was served to us. idem for dessert makes mixtures of small portions and in the final not very successful. reception not very gracious of the boss and very slow service.

We went to this restaurant during the recent heatwave. We’ve always loved going there, food is excellent and freshly made, and the atmosphere is always good. A favourite of ours. Unfortunately I felt ill because of the heat, and the owner was just so kind to me. She sat me down and sprayed water on my face, she couldn’t have been nicer. The food was as good as always, and I felt well enough to enjoy a great meal!

We pre booked (advisable) as a party of 6 and were received with a warm welcome. Although busy, the service was very good and the owner particularly so. House cocktails were delicious, including cherry and red wine and champagne with peach. Starters were lobster tureen, fois gras and goats cheese with walnut salad. Mains were sea bass (pictured), veal, lamb and desserts were delicious including strawberries, white chocolate, basil and hazelnut ice cream. The price was reasonable for such good quality food and overall our visit was magnifique!!

We had an excellent dinner here. The menu is narrow: two starters, meat or fish, and two desserts. We both had Foi Gras “three ways”, including Foi Gras Crème Brûlée. The fish was an Atlantic white fish tonight and well presented. For dessert, I had chocolate/pear tart and my wife had an apple tart. It was all good. A short wine list is available, with wine by the glass, half liter or bottle. Reasonably priced: 78 Euro for 2 including a bottle of wine. Many foreigners were there with us, and the owner used English to speak to them regardless of nationality.

"After canoeing down the Aveyron River last week this place came highly recommended by the owner of the canoe-kayak company (Canoeing Evasion, I’d happily recommend them too for a smaller scale family-friendly experience). As some have mentioned the restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside as beside a Carrefour supermarket and adjacent petrol station. But don’t let the looks of it put you off. As the signs at the entrance indicate, they have been endorsed by the “Petit Fûté” tourist guide for the past few years. The main indoor room has AC and there is a terrace at the back surrounded by greenery. The service is friendly, welcoming and personable without being intrusive. We wanted an early dinner which is not common practice but were allowed in at 6:30pm (they commence serving food from 7pm but will serve you drinks at the table before that). We chose from the set menu which was priced at 23 euros for 3 courses (very reasonable for summer 2022). Starters were deep fried Camembert bites with poached nectarines and side salad and lemon marinated chicken salad, both excellent. Mains were lamb chops and fillet of bass with red pepper sauce, both served with sides of vegetables (carrots and courgettes) in garlic and parsley and homemade chips. Delicious. 5 deserts to chose from (we sampled 4): homemade ice cream, chocolate mousse, crème brûlée, pana cota, apricot cake. The à la carte menu looked good too with choice of salads (option of 2 sizes, grilled meats and fish/seafood courses). Everything apart from the bread and the drink was homemade from sauces to chips, which is rare this days but you could taste the difference. We would happily come back when we return to St Antonin. Thank you to the owner, the waiting staff and the chef for a great (not pretentious) and tasty culinary experience. PS: there is a local brewery next door called belier (ram) where you can buy and sample a beer before you have your meal. Worth a visit."
