"We stopped here to find a shady spot after a walk ring the market. Initially we were only having a drink, but we watched the food come out to other tables and decided to eat here too. I have been disappointed overall with the food in Provence during my stay, and this was a welcome surprise of true French food of the standards I am used to in France! We had the menu du jour for 22€, including wine and coffee and were not disappointed. One of our party had the risotto, which she also enjoyed and another had the plat du jour which was a duck maigret"

"Several days ago my wife and I stayed at La Mas du Cadranier b&b in Villeneuve, France. Arriving late we asked the owner for a dinner recommendation. Without hesitation she offered Bistro de Pays de Noizelles. To insure we got a seat she called ahead to make a reservation. The restaurant is located in Noizelles; a tiny viillage and seats (inside) approximately 25 patrons. The very engaging waiter explained the menu (written on a chalkboard) and made certain recommendations. We each enjoyed a very tasty Ceasar salad. My wife's rib lamb chops and pomme frites were cooked perfectly. I chose Ravioli covered with a basal cream sauce. The sauce introduced a variety of delicate flavors without overpowering the ravioli.For dessert my wife had a light sponge cake with cherries on top of a delicious custard sauce. I had a cake with pears inside; also sitting in a custard sauce. Throughout the meal we enjoyed the waiter's great personality.All of the above (with two glasses of wine) for 59 euros! If you are in the Manosque area don't miss a meal at Bistro de Pays de Noizelles.As we proceeded through it became clear that the bistro has many returning local diners. Soon after we arrived the restaurant filled up.In addition to offering outside dining during warmer months I believe they close during February and March."

"better than at home! in the family the underte I would like the father, the mother and the girl. That's all!With these three people who care about the well-being of their guests you are sure to spend an unforgettable time in this famous restaurant. The meal: passage forced by the aperitif! the dish: a hot camembert melted in his box, accompanied by varied cuts and a green salad. A murder! dessert: tiramisu, chocolate mousse and meringue lemon pie revisited. excellent!very good value for money!pizzeria to recommend! we will return there."

"Very good welcome to the boss, the cuisine is delicious with fresh and local products. We were 2 eating what makes me put 3 stars for the atmosphere, of course during the tourist period the atmosphere must be different. However this allowed us to speak with the boss of the region and things to see! Very good evening! Thank you very much! We'll be back!"

"Enfin un restaurant ou l'on peut manger une excellente cuisine locale comme la faisaient nos grand mères. Tout est maison, le plat principal et les desserts sont à base de produits locaux frais. Le cadre dans la vielle ville, sur la place Saint MIchel agréable.L'accueil est sympathique, le prix très raisonnable avec des vins locaux. Passage obligé lors de votre visite de Forcalquier mais n'oubliez surtout pas de réserver."
