We read reviews about this restaurant. We visited and found the staff very friendly. BUT the food was not good, the terrine was a slice of terrine from the supermarket. The rabbit was fine, the steak was fine. The Crepe Suzette was a thick crepe with a liqueur. So we wanted to be good and we were so disappointed

This was the only restaurant open in le plan de la Tour on a Saturday in late November. It proved to be a great find and was soon full. We were impressed when 12 members of the Renault rally team dropped in for a meal. Food was excellent and despite the unexpected Renault team the staff managed extremely well. Very enjoyable dinner and would certainly recommend

We always try to come to this restaurant when we visit the village. It is our favorite place to eat, the welcome of Coco and Sandrine is always warm, the food is fresh and healthy blend of Provençal ingredients with a Portuguese spin. On this occasion we came with friends to a double birthday party and had enjoyed another beautiful evening from all. Very recommended.

Le vieux Moulin is our beautiful restaurant in the area of Saint Maxime and Plan de la Tour. Two nice ladies work there. The food is really delicious what you choose from the menu. This time we were thrilled by Rigatoni with truffle and burrata, Italian bruschetta and amazing apple cake. The atmosphere and the interior is so authentic and unique! Very recommended to visit. We visited with family having a variety of main courses risotto st jacques, ravioli, steak and a mild coconut based curry all were delicious and well cooked. Service was good and we had a lovely evening partially fuelled by local Les Marquets rose wine. We sat outside but the interior is quite quirky as it contained many interesting old items from times gone by in a rural French village and have been an equally good place to dine.

Dinner here was a surprise as the exterior of the restaurant looks quite quirky however we were served with friendly enthusiasm and the food was great! The menu was fairly simple, truffle dressed fresh salad starter, scallop risotto etc, but all cooked with fresh ingredients many from their own back garden and all local, and incredibly tasty. I wish we had time to go back for a second visit. Their home made tapenade was the best we had tasted all holiday!

My wife and I visited Le Vieux Moulin on the main street of le Plan de la Tour in 2016. The foliage above the outdoor tables was not as dense then as it was now in October 2019. Maybe the darkness could cause some potential guests to pass this sidewalk restaurant without considering to sit down for a meal. However, the food was really tasty. It was lunchtime, and we had entrées for 12 € plus desserts for 8 € each. One of us chose a salade des chèvres chauds and des crèpes de chocolat chantilly, the other one aubergines à la parmesane (truly recommendable! and an asiette des frommages with red wine. Altogether a very good experience.
