Mae Ping Thai Dining

Food was delicious all of us had a perfect food . The service was slow but they did keep us updated all the time and it suited us as we were having a good catch up with family, would go back if we are ever in Perth again

We love Thai food, so often eat at restaurants serving that. This was supposed to be a good restaurant, but was rather a disappointment. Very bland and tasteless. Mediocre food, and same goes for service. Wouldn't go here again.

Fantastic meal. Group of 8 on a course with work made a last minute booking and the restaurant could not have been more accommodating. Host was fantastic, very friendly and all the food was freshly cooked to order and delicious. Would recommend to anyone. Speisekarte ansehen

Yet again another incredible night. Always warmly greeted, with impeccable cocktails and service. Decided to try something different and it did not disappoint. Everything is fresh to order and you can really tell by the quality. Will be back, best restaurant in Perth!

Visited on a week night and food was outstanding. All fresh, cooked to order, and everything was excellent. Expect to be in Perth now and again with family working from Perth and this will be the first choice. 5 Star reviews are rare from me, but this one's well deserved.

We visited here at the weekend and the food was out of the world each bite was delicious. We tried the cocktails as well and they were so lovely. We will definitely be back here soon. We booked on a Saturday night for a party of 8 to celebrate my Wife’s Birthday and although we have lived in the area for a while have not been before. The food was amazing, all dishes are cooked to order with exceptional skill and quality ingredients. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves Thai food and also to those who are unsure you will find something you’ll love from the extensive menu.

We visited Mae Ping for dinner last night with family and also picked up a takeaway a fortnight ago. The food quality and taste has significantly dropped compared to previous years. The mixed seafood in my dish was borderline off and unpleasant, the vegetables were dry and undercooked, the sticky rice had no flavour. I could see my in-laws dishes were also disappointing. The pad Thai takeaway a couple of weeks ago was drowned in fish source and borderline unpleasant. The prices have gone up significantly in the last couple of years, which would’ve been fine if the quality was also being maintained. Think I’ll be giving it a good while before trying again. It honestly used to be great.

Having spent several days hiking and climbing in Glencoe we decided to drive along Loch Ness and then down from Inverness on our way back to England. It was early evening by the time we got to Perth so we looked for a suitable restaurant for dinner. Trip Advisor recommended Mae Ping so we decided to visit. Boy are we glad we did. The waiter was very helpful in explaining what our dietary requirements would allow and we selected a range of dishes for both starters and mains (having eaten camp food for three nights, we were hungry).
