"Mixx restaurant, Marriott Hotel, Leicester. Went with my fiancee for a Valentine's evening meal. When seated we were given bread with butter and balsamic vinegar, very nice. I had a goats cheese salad to start which was delicious, my fiancee had roast plum tomato soup which was the best tomato soup we've ever tasted. I had lamb for main which was cooked perfectly. My fiancee had seabass which was delicate and tasty. We were too full for dessert! Fantastic place, great service, recommended!"

The menu sounded fantastic, however when the food arrived it just didn't deliver. The butternut squash risotto was stodgy and too salty to eat. All the 4 dishes that we ordered were not as nice as we had envisaged.

I and my girfrriend went here for Valentine's Day and how did all the employees superb, as my friend has a nut allergy the cheifs calated the food she wanted with them, my overall rating would be 10/10 very nice people and very good out

I was staying at the Marriott Hotel with my family during a weekend break and booked up the MIXX for diner. The food was nice as I expected and the service was helpful and friendly. It's a good and convenient restaurant to go especially if you are staying at the Marriott.

My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant for Valentine's Day. The staff were all superb - especially accommodating my girlfriend's nut allergy. The chefs made sure to cater to her needs and the food was delicious. I would give this restaurant a rating of 10/10. The people were very nice and the food was very well-prepared.
