"The only curry house in Oundle and perhaps a little complacent about this. The service was fine and we were seated fairly quickly on what looked like a relatively busy evening. Menus were stuck together and the drinks they served (a coke and a lemonade) were flat. Poppadoms were lovely the standard selection of chutneys. The currys were not so good, rubbery meat and pretty tasteless. Not the worst curry I have had but certainly not the best. Very reasonably priced but I wouldn't eat there again."

last night had a nice family dinner in onkar. the food was tasty and fresh, and the service was absolutely noticeable, although it was very busy for a Wednesday night. will be back soon! ps. onkar make midweek specials, great worth for courses.

Had a really nice meal lamb madras. It's a little hotter than I am used to but tasted great nonetheless. It's nice to see that a restaurant doesn't skimp on a lamb dish, it had plenty of meat.
