"I ordered takeout from here for the first time, and I must say, the keema naan was absolutely delicious—definitely the highlight of my meal. The chicken curry was enjoyable as well, with great flavors in the sauce, although I wish it had been spicier. The crispy okra was quite tasty too. I was really looking forward to the lamb biryani, but unfortunately, it tasted overwhelmingly of cardamom, which really took away from the overall experience. It overshadowed the entire dish. On a positive note, the popadoms and complimentary soup were delightful. As for vegetarian options, there’s a good variety of choices for both starters and mains."

"My first time at this restaurant was excellent. I went there with my family for a birthday meal and had a wonderful experience. "I was thinking about my wife and my kids and two old friends. the place was full, but for a table that just took us all, but the dame waitress had nothing of it. surprisingly and not helpful is generous to them. I stopped, however, and ordered a final order. it took one because, but the pizza was good and had gluten-free and vegan options that were both good. beautiful place, gothic over the service."

"We were a large group our orders were incorrect, one pizza was completely forgotten and despite asking we just kept being told it’s coming but as though we were an inconvenience. Pizza was just handed over with no apology and our friend just had...to sit and eat when everyone else had finished, we weren’t offered anymore drinks and we had to ask for the missing pizza to be removed. Someone came to collect a takeaway which was incorrect also and we overheard the manager blaming our large group for it causing issues despite the fact we had booked the table months before. If we had just had an apology, or even had someone come and ask us if we would like anything else it would have made a a huge difference. Even as we left, the manager was next to the door and there wasn’t even a “bye” or “thank you” considering what we had just spent. All the staff looked so stressed and miserable we just wanted to leave. It’s a shame as when we got the pizza it was delicious!"

"Mama Jinny Thai Kitchen is Thai comfort food at its finest. Eating here was definitely one of the best decisions we made while we were in Margate. The place was clean and well-lit. The decor transported us to Thailand. : It 's about five minutes walk from Margate Main Sands. The staff were friendly and attentive. They also reminded me of family-owned restaurants back at home where you can just feel so comfortable. The food was just absolutely wonderful. They did not skimp on the ingredients. Our Tom Yum seafood soup was full of yummy seafood and mushrooms. The Pork Pad Khing was also very tasty and the vegetables were cooked perfectly and not soggy at all. We also had mango with sticky rice for dessert. Now this dessert is a definite must-try in any Thai restaurant, especially at Mama Jinny. It was just so delectable. It was not overly sweet. Just the perfect way to end the meal. The only thing I was disappointed about was that I got too full too soon... I wanted to eat more and to try their other dishes. The price is reasonable for the quality of the food. This is now in our 'Must Eat Here list ' when in Margate"

"The food was absolutely divine and definitely lived up to the hype. The staff were lovely and kind, making the experience enjoyable. The only small downside was that, despite booking in advance, we were offered two tables by the door, as we were told the empty ones were for four people. We were visibly cold, and while the staff kindly offered us blankets, it was a bit surprising to see other pairs, including walkins, being seated at those tables away from the door. "Had a table with a view of an amazing sunset over Margate harbour arm. Not much ambiance in the restaurant as only 2 tables were occupied. Our waiter was very obliging and patient. Starters were tasty. My mains rack of lamb was perfectly cooked as the chef really listened to how I wanted it cooked. My husbands baked aubergines were under cooked unfortunately. Desserts were delicious. Strange that there was no fish on the menu, and the wine list was quite limited. However, will definitely return and will recommend to friends."
