Ruenthai - Speisekarte

This is a modest restaurant on Waling Street in Gillingham but well worth a visit. It is much improved since our initial visit a few years ago.

What a lovely place. Lovely food, lovely staff. Would recommend to everyone. Really enjoyed the evening and for the amount of food and drink we had it was great value.

I have used this restaurant several times now and I felt the food, service had gone down hill. HOWEVER I am so pleased to say the new management has turned it around!!! Speisekarte ansehen

Such a lovely place! Arrived late at night and they opened the restaurant on a quiet evening! We were greeted so kindly and got to talking with the people running the place! So friendly, great atmosphere, fantastic food!

Absoulutely loved this place! This was my first time having Thai, me and my partner ordered the All we can eat option! We had the duck and prawn steamed dumplings and had to just order more! Everything tasted lovely, no issues at all! Will definitely be coming back soon! Staff were all friendly and very attentive!

The food was more like a Chinese takeaway (and a poor one at that) than a Thai restaurant. Shrivelled dried fish cakes and watery curry served with over sticky rice.A real shame if you like Thai food as there are so many great Thai restaurants, unfortunately this one is not one of them.Dont waste your time or money. This used to be my favourite restaurant in Gillingham but wow it has certainly gone downhill. The food was awful a lot of it was cold and it was tasteless. There were 5 of us we ordered one sharing platter between us which we mostly left as it wasn't nice. We ordered the duck and just returned the whole thing. We only ordered 4 mains between us and ate hardly any of it, the chicken was dry and had an odd taste, the steak in the weeping tiger was like shoe leather. The bill came to 93.00 and their card machine didn't work so had to go to cash point. We will not be returning .

Although the food was lovely and the staff were great and friendly we both got our startes and mains at diffeent times. In fact I had to ask for my starters it took so long. It was also Valentines day and wanted to select from the Valentines menu but no veggie. So we asked the waitress and she went to asked the chef and she came back no. I do find this very poor and I can't think of anywhere in years I have been where there is no veggie. Next time you have a specialm event can you have a vegetrian option or we simply will not be visiting afain. Such a shame as they had gone to a lot of trouble to shape the napkins as roses and have hearts on the table.

Waited ages for our drinks order to be taken, once ordered we waisted ages for our starters. We had the vegetable tempura and the fish cakes. The veg tempura was lovely but I’m not actually sure what the fish cakes were. They looked like some kind of sausage patty . We then waited more than half an hour for our starters and had to ask how long they’d be. The pad Thai smelt like dried dog food and was literally inedible. The chicken curry was terrible and the Singapore rice wasn’t too bad but very spicy. Crispy duck was okay but very dry and the cucumber was like rubber. Was so dry it was unreal. The staff were okay but the food was so terrible my partner has been really unwell from it so we... Speisekarte ansehen
