"A fabulous find! We made our reservation prior to our week in Alhaurin El Grande as the restaurant was highly recommended by friends who live locally. We booked for the night before we flew home to the UK and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is beautiful, we were greeted by Kairi one of the owners on arrival and shown to our table and we were offered drinks whilst we settled in. The menu is fabulous, traditional dishes mixed with more contemporary offerings however once we had read through 5 out of the 6 of us went for the same! French onion soup (Gratinated onion soup), some garlic snails to share, followed by the Tournedos “El Postillón”, a stunning cut of beef fillet topped with Foie Gras, shaved black truffle and a port wine sauce. Unquestionably the best fillet steak I have had for some time. To end the meal we ordered 3 creme brulees to fight over between us! Hopefully we will be visiting Alhaurin El Grande again soon, when we do we will be sure to book an evening at Fonda El Postillon again."

"Muy buen sitio para tapear y pedir algo más complementario. La cerveza barata pero la comida tiene el precio un poco más elevado para la cantidad que ponen ya que pedimos 5 platos diferentes para 2 personas y nos quedamos con hambre. También el sabor no era el esperado aunque estaba todo bueno. A destacar el Poke que estaba exquisito."

"Has never let us down. Up on the hill. Great food and service. A lovely place to sit outside under a shaded area and a lovely breeze too. Parking: They have their own Parking area outside the Boma. "La comida está buenísima , los platos son bastante grandes el de los montes es tremendo no te lo terminas segurisimo y las carrilleras ufff buenísimas recomendadisimo, aunque no tiene una carta muy grande los que tiene merece la pena al 100"

"All wrong... I don't know... I put the star because I can't do a review without at least putting one... The place looks very nice from the outside, Sunday around 10 p.m., the waitress sees us approaching and we tell her that it's just for a drink (drinks), there are two of us and the terrace is full but not full. Empty interior room, only two couples at the bar. We approached and the bartender, who I really hope is not the owner, approaches us and very diligently tells us that this is a restaurant that the bar is only for waiters access... he doesn't offer us a table, he doesn't even say apologies ... In short, a pretty, half-empty restaurant, it lost two customers who who knows if they ate something because they weren't given the chance to get a table... or space somewhere...? Be careful, I don't want to go to extremes but... What did you do not serve us? The room was empty, the time was correct... could it be my accent? I'm not Spanish and I speak with an accent I don't know... I'm also a professional in the field, I earned my living serving tables... I really didn't understand and everything was wrong..."
