This restaurant is truly exceptional. The food was outstanding, the service was top-notch, and I highly recommend it to everyone. A small eatery located in Edwinstowe , very different to what we are used to but a very pleasant experience. Tapas style dishes are served, freshly made and delivered to the table very hot. "We stayed overnight at this charming pub on our way to pick up our new puppy. The pub is very nice and cozy, with a great selection of beers, including a delicious Guinness. We enjoyed a tasty fish and chips dinner, with a lovely batter on the fish, although a bit too crispy for my liking. The staff were extremely polite and attentive, as well as very friendly. Our room, number 2, was comfortable but could use some updating, as the wallpaper was peeling in places and the bathroom needed some work. For the price, it wasn't bad at all. They also have some beautiful stable bedrooms that look lovely, albeit likely more expensive. Breakfast was very enjoyable. Overall, we wouldn't mind staying here again, perhaps opting for one of the stables next time. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value."

"I’ve just realised I’ve been visiting The Beck for over 20 years now for both drinks and meals with friends and family and I’ve never written a review! The Beck for me is home from home and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve visited. They say a business is only as good as it’s staff, and maybe this is why The Beck has lasted so long with a reputation for a relaxed atmosphere good food and good service. The staff here are friendly, caring and professional, I’ve never been anywhere where I felt so at home as The Beck. Edward, Julie, Theresa, Kieran and not forgetting Trish in the kitchen make the place what it is! In 20 years I’ve never had a bad meal here, the food is excellent, and today did not disappoint. I was treating my parents and wife to a belated Mother’s Day and Dad’s birthday meal out, I had the lamb roast which was sublime and my dad had the blade of beef which in his words was “melt in your mouth” good! My Wife had a chilli and my Mum had the flat bread, which were also very nice and portions are plentiful. My daughter has Dairy and Soya allergies and wanted sausages and mash however the mash had butter in it so they made it with chips instead, she also cleared her plate! If you want to go somewhere with a nice warm friendly atmosphere and excellent food at very reasonable prices then The Beck is definitely worth a visit."

"I visited with my family for the Easter Carvery. The atmosphere is lovely, staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious and homemade. This wasn't my first visit, but it was my first visit since becoming vegan last year. The Easter event was bookings only so I let them know I was vegan when we booked, which they said was no problem at all. I was given a special menu when we arrived which included mushroom soup and bread for starter; a homemade butternut squash pie with spinach and soya cream cheese for main; and a blueberry and blackberry pie or a fruit salad for dessert. All of which were delicious! They also had soya milk for teas and coffees. The staff were really helpful and informative without me having to ask. I was told that the carvery veg was all cooked in olive oil (not butter , the only things I wasn't able to have were the Yorkshire puddings and cauliflower cheese. They had also prepared a jug of vegan gravy especially for me. Nothing was a problem for them and it was a really lovely meal. Thank you! :"
