"Absolutely appalled we visited the bull and were kept waiting an hour and 45 minutes to then be told we would have to wait at LEAST AN EXTRA 40 minutes for the food we had ordered. We even rang up in advance to see if...they had any tables available before arriving. The restaurant had about 3 tables so was manageable. I am absolutely disgusted in how long we were kept waiting the service is absolutely despicable! All the customers sat in the restaurant were also complaining about the wait! The waiters then came over and tried blaming the chef from the ‘Tilly Raven’ saying ‘he’s new and doesn’t know his way round our kitchen’ trying to justify the waiting time! We should not have been told we could come to the restaurant if the waiting time for food was that long! Or Should’ve been informed about the waiting time on the phone. We will unfortunately not be returning again as this is not the first time the service has been so terrible! We came with our family in July to celebrate a birthday and was kept waiting 2 hours then."

Went for Sunday lunch today, the food was very good and the waiting staff were friendly. It was worth a visit and we would return.

pretty grim. only people in the week. separate service food ok but small rump full gristle despite taste good. so many elements from the menu, then those we were told we could not have arrived. planned as gastropub but has no wine list! will not go back. the young waiter tried to apologize. I shouldn't have done that. Speisekarte ansehen

we visited this evening for my mother birthday and we all had a really nice meal and were made to feel very welcome and we really could not mistake the service we received from beginning to end. the personal was so friendly and accommodating and nothing was too. much annoyed. we would recommend and we will visit again very soon

First visit to The Bull for everyone in our group of 8 locals, and we would highly recommend it. Excellent value Sunday lunch, which we had pre-ordered to ensure there was ample time to prepare our meals, and we were very impressed by the attentive...staff. There may have been a recent change of ownership, and hopefully any previous issues have been resolved. We would suggest pre-ordering if at all possible, and will definitely be returning.

I have been wanting to try this pub for ages so when given the chance I rang up and booked a table. We entered via the restaurant entrance and went to the bar and was greeted by a very welcoming and friendly member of staff...who showed us to our table and soon after came back and took our drinks and food order. We both ordered the Sunday roast and within 5-6 mins later it arrived at our table. Its was absolutely fantastic loads on the plate really nicely cooked and very hot. We were both that full we couldn't manage pudding. It was worth the wait and drive. Speisekarte ansehen

Attended last night after pre booking a table for 7:30, we waited until 8:40 before the food arrived, the food was good but not great. The gammon on the mixed grill was overcooked and tough, and the chicken was disappointing, I was expecting better quality...for the price of £25. Drinks are expensive so I would advise you ask before you order as when you get the bill at the end of the evening it comes as a shock. The staff were polite but under pressure due to customers chasing their orders. We were not alone having to wait and at one stage another table were going to leave as they had waited so long. Overall a disappointing experience.

personal friendly and helpful, but afternoon tee needs work the whole idea is delicious cake and sandwiches served with finesse. I would call today afternoon tee rustic rough and ready. good point that white and brown brot was used, but made too early as bread...was very dry also large pieces of bark and pigs left from Sunday midday was not the production of a delicious sandwich. scones tasted beautiful, but were size of the plate and left in stacks on cake stand for cake and also beautiful touch with few strawberries scattered over. no pastry for children with drinks these were extra calculated,Come on the bull afternoon tee is an experience and that was definitiw! everything in all will no...

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."
