The Old School And Kitchen

The dinner was enjoyable but the food wasn't hot enough for all of us in the party. We all agreed that it needed to be hotter. Despite that, the food was still delicious.

we loved it absolutely! the kerl on the bar was the best and eating was excellent. I recommend bbq ribs and veggie burger. was good and the bar vibe was just as we like it.

Popped into the Old School as a group of 9 and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. As for the food, brilliant, superb meals and service. Such lovely people. Thank you so much

friendly courteous staff and eating was hot and nice cooked, and the beer was nice and cold, and we were not chased out after we had finished our great meal. we will definitely return and be very welcome.

what a fantastic cook! everyone has to get to know, eating is excellent! I had a steak delivered by etherington's metzgern. the fresh fish of the day was turbot, amazing view of the pictures. cooked by that it was the best ever! menu is nice, bar staff are so friendly.

The venue is a historic School with fabulous architecture, the decor is clever and creates a great ambience, the service is awesome, you have an entire family running it, all with exceptional customer services, Culinary skills, food was epic and of exceptional standard, then when we couldn’t be more impressed we get some super awesome live music, so to Summarise, a total hidden gem, in a great historic building, all levels top standard, come here and find out for yourself!

This restaurant is not a gastropub, but it is housed in a beautiful building. However, the interior decor could use some improvement as the atmosphere felt cold. The food was average, mainly consisting of freezer items, and it took a while for our order to be served despite there being only one other table occupied. We found some odd bits of salad underneath the onion rings, but the rings themselves were tasty. The fish was delicious, although we would have preferred fresh chips instead of frozen ones.
