we booked a table for 7:15, we realized it was pretty busy, but then we had to wait an hour before the starters were served. the service was good, the staff really friendly and the eating was nice.

Booked for the Wednesday Steak night offer. Paid £3 extra for an excellent Sicilian red wine, Nero D'Avolo. which was an excellent accompaniment to the superb medium rare steaks. Friendly smiling service . Will definitely be going back to try the a la carte menu.

Having been to the PB on many occasions I was disappointed with the food and whilst the complaint was dealt with satisfactorily in the end and the staff were pleasant and friendly, there was a long wait between ordering dessert and being served and I got the feeling that the Pub/restaurant was poorly managed.

The guy who served us really made this pub. Outside is beautiful but inside really needs some work on it ie knocked paint work. Supervisor didnt say hello to us once. If the young guy on front of house wasnt there it woukdnt of been a revisit he defaintly needs a pay rise. Great for a outside drinks in the sun nice food but not in a rush to go back for food.

We love the Punchbowl..brought friends and it didn’t disappoint!One observation is, however...we would like to have eaten outside as it was a lovely day.But the wooden tables had benches and we are all in our sixties and find it uncomfortable with no back rests.The small tables and chairs were adequate for snacks but not meals for 4.So, better outside seating would be great!
