The Rendezvous Chinese

The meal was nice. Service good. Didn't rush us away after we had finished dining. A bit disappointed with my Dessert. Profiteroles were hard with very little cream and chocolate sauce. Easy solution just opt for something else next time.

We stopped coming here but I don't really know why.The food was fabulous and the service was great.The restaurant itself is basic but as I always say you go for the food and ambience not the decor(although sometimes it helps)We had a lovely evening and will be back

best Chinese restraunt / take them in scotland? eating is amazing. since 1956. had taken away a great amount of excellent meal times both in sitting and away. was never bad, always excellent. bark curry is best what I've ever tried, everything tasted good that I've eaten.

Had a takeaway. Barbecue ribs without sauce. Chicken n black bean sauce. My wife had the vegetarian spring roll which was disappointing small n not much inside. She enjoyed her mixed veg n satay sauce. All was nice other than spring roll. Friendly quick service all for just under £27

always great friendly service, family-run Vietnamese n Cantonese restaurant. eating is always top notch and a great menu with set to meet all the preferences of spicy to vegetarian food. my family often has Christmas dinners and family celebrations in rendezvous until 3-5 times in the year n we love it

Starter chicken satay just looked under cooked sauce nice . Chicken still red so left some. My friend also left some too under cooked looking red puts you off. Main : szechan chicken, there was alot of chicken . It could have had many more peppers and baby corn and other vegetables in it as it was just like completely chicken stew with poor flavour. Could have been more tasty tangy flavorful dish, spicy sweet with light soy sauce. Not today.

it's been over 25 years since I made the first place in edinburgh rendezvous, and I can say without doubt that it is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the world. I don't live in Britain anymore, so when I visit, I take every opportunity to taste their delicacies. 25 years later, it's just as good as it was. this device is more than just a restaurant, it is an institution, a real sign that edinburgh defines. simply the best Chinese food in the city and one of the best in the country.
