Posto incantevole vista mare. Frittura buonissima e leggera. I primi piatti con i frutti di mare squisiti. L unica pecca: il ritardo di una portata.

The restaurant has a beautiful setting, with terrace looking over the Adriatic See. Price/quality was more than Okay! Great food and every table gets the personal attention of the chef cook. He's interested in the people where he serves the food for! We would definitely go back!

Il punto di forza di questo locale è senz'altro il panorama che si può godere mentre si mangia nel grande portico esterno. Noi abbiamo scelto il menu di pesce. Insalata di mare non eccezionale mentre la frittura l'abbiamo trovata decisamente ottima. Ottimo il servizio, le ragazze sono state veramente gentili e premurose. Il prezzo, a mio avviso, un po' alto .

Affacciato sulla splendida costa del basso salento si possono degustare piatti tipici della cucina locale. Saporitissime ed abbondanti le linguine alla polpa di riccio, cosi come il gelato artigianale di carrubbe noci e mile: davvero squisito. Unica pecca l"antipasto di acciughe marinate: le acciughe ottime ma il prezzo di €uro per acciughe a mio parere è un po' alto.

We stopped here for lunch on our way down the coastal road. The view from the veranda is spectacular, and we were just hoping for a nice lunch, but ended up having an amazing meal. Since my husband has ordered the sea bass with pasta (which would take longer), the owner brought us some mussels to keep us going until lunch was ready. I had the seafood pasta myself and both dishes were excellent. We then tried his special gelato, which was amazing ginger and citronella.

We had fantastic dinner at Trattoria Grotta Verde. From the beginning we were warmly welcomed by the chef/owner Cosimo and the staff. He spoke excellent English, which is not common in the area. Very interesting guy who has lived all over the world. Food was fresh and expertly prepared. We chose fresh fish for our entrees and he brought out all of them for us to choose. Prices were excellent for the amount and quality of food we had. Highly recommend. It is my understanding that this restaurant is open only during summer months.

We were staying in Marina di Andrano and due to it 's location (literally a cannoli throw from our place) and a mid range review on Trip Advisor we had to try this place and see for ourselves. They definitely deserve the mid range review. After waiting over an hour, nursing our wine, we hadn 't received an appetizer, a slice of bread, or even a word of encouragement from the staff, like an It 'll be here soon Sir . When the waitress did appear she did the ever dreaded bringing of both our appetizer and main meal at the same time with no apologies.
