Very welcoming, had to wait for table a short while, excellent food, couldn’t do enough for you. All fresh produce. Homemade lasagne to die for! Cream teas looked spectacular. Would visit again.

The Gluten Free lemon cake was absolutely delicious, lady who served us said it was made by Linda so very well done Linda. Tea comes with cup and saucers very nice touch. Been past many times but nice to finally stop on a rainy day and find it's dog friendly too.

the best is everything! this is honestly a little gem that should be on every list while visiting in wales. the house itself has so much character, beautiful garden, only picturesque. the personal is very friendly with very fast service. homemade food is delicious and fresh.

when we stopped a cup of tea, we saw a dame with a sandwich, looked so delicious, we decided to go one even we where 4 hours of our dinner in the hotel, but no regret we loved it and was very tasty, we go back to try some of the other delicious cakes and eat, we recommend it a lot. the house looked so good and unusual, but not ugly it is picturesque and beautiful.

This is a lovely little tea room in a gorgeous tiny cottage. We stopped here as a family in pouring rain and were welcomed in by happy and polite staff. They had a nice simple menu of some sandwiches, rarebit and a selection of cakes with teas and coffees too. The rarebit was lovely, and the cake potions are huge. The cottage itself has a rich history which is worth reading in to.

Thought it looked quaint so we decided to stop for lunch. So glad we did. The young man who attended to us and served our lunch was very friendly and efficient. Food was delicious . I had a ham sandwich (home baked ham and bread was fab) with home-made coleslaw, potato salad and chutney plus a salad. Hubby had Welsh rarebit plus the same accompaniments as me. It was so so good. Will definitely go again.

We made a beeline for the Ugly House at the far end of our round walk to and from Betws y Coed via Swallow falls. I have wanted to visit for ages but never had the time or chance. We were not disappointed! The staff were so incredibly friendly, couldn't do enough for you. Very warm and personable. The oat milk flat white was top notch, tea lovely, cakes delicious but the best bit was the rarebit my goodness, I don't think I have every had a better rarebit. Perfectly cooked with a lovely salad, chutney, slaw etc. It was heaven! We took home a jar of the honey too which I can confirm is delicious! Turned up on spec with my other half last Saturday, wanting lunch. Amazing location and stunning building (definitely haunted, ace) and the staff were just wonderful. I am veggie and gluten free, so whilst options were limited, they couldn't do enough for me. I ordered a cheese sandwich and they came back and asked if I wanted a toastie, and it was stunning. visited in august 2019 while I had my wales vacation. on the way to betws y coed I wanted to stop and see this famous tea room. it sits in a curve on the main road, so not easy to stop, especially that it has a very small parking in the same curve. it is in the regular full, so I felt happy to get a room. the house has a small garden with a few tables where I sat when I asked about the toilet, I was sent to the upper garden where is a composting toilet. not the kindest place, but I saw worse in my life. after my coffee I had a walk in the upper garden, which has a few narrow paths around the forest area with some places to stop and see: bird feeder, wilded oak, white cliffs. it's a nice litt...
