However, as it got busier, they kept turning up the music, making it hard to hear and forcing us to shout over our meals. Not everyone wants to shout over lunch and it made me hesitant to return."

Great food and environment. Good value for money but NOT the 500 club, bit of chicken and salad leaves £18, When other goodness on menu is a good deal. Staff nice but may need to get more knowledge of the menu etc

I would not recommend this place if you have food allergies as they do not have separate menus, as I was told. The attitude of managers to this is not good. I was told that the cook could prepare something, but I wouldn't trust it. It is also very expensive to eat in a pub. We left without order as I could not take the risk of being sick

This was the first time I had eaten at the grill and it took some time before we sat and I had to find the staff! The food was good, apart from the broccoligratin, who was basically steamed with a lukewarm cheese sauce, which was plundered up and not even grilled, so that was disappointing. Would probably eat again, but would not have been worth the gratin....not the £4 I paid for, I'm afraid.

My Burger bunge was covered with melted butter, it was so greasy it was really unpleasant and made your hands filthy to hold. It was nice and quiet there and prefect for the conversation about a nice lunch with colleagues. But as soon as it became more busy, they turned the music louder and then it was hard to hear and you had to scream. Not everyone wants to scream about their lunch! I didn't want to go back there.

This was my first time dining at the grill and it took a while before we were seated. I had to track down a staff member! The food was overall good, except for the broccoli gratin. It was basically steamed broccoli with a lukewarm cheese sauce poured on top, and it wasn't even grilled. That was disappointing. I would likely eat here again, but I wouldn't order the gratin. It wasn't worth the £4 I paid for it, unfortunately.
