Came for lunch with a group of friends. Both the food (pre-ordered) and service were brilliant. Really friendly staff.

Today was our first visit to the pub selected as we found out Adam had moved from The Griffen at Mears Ashby to join the team! He did not disappoint the roast was delicious and the staff were lovely. Just need to sort a good wine list Thanks everyone will defo be back xx

My family and I came for lunch last weekend and we were blown away by the new menu! There were so many options to choose from and the quality of the food was excellent for the price. The portion sizes were generous as well. The staff were lovely and very friendly. I will definitely be returning in the future. The garden area was also very pleasant!

Heard about a new chef starting and I just had to try and we were not disappointed! It was so hard to choose from the amazing menu that we decided to share to get a taste of everything! Service and food were absolutely amazing…we were looked after from start to finish and the atmosphere was everything you’d expect from a family run village pub! We will absolutely be back!

We had a lovely evening at The White Hart. It was our first time there, but we will definitely be coming back. We had previously been to another pub where the chef worked, so we knew the food would be excellent. Despite my food intolerances, the chef and waitress at The White Hart were extremely accommodating and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced.

Visited for Father's Day. Was very busy, Sunday lunch was exceptional (but we knew would be as we've followed this chef) Pork so tender, Turkey moist. It was so tasty. Desserts didn't disappoint either. There is so much room for improvement on the service feels like staff are just checking off jobs on a list not actually enjoying delivering customer service. Personally don't like looking at service staff in flip flops whilst I'm eating or seeing the staff smoke with customers then coming in to serve me. If the service can live up to the food this place will be a winner.

I recently visited the White Hart restaurant and unfortunately, my experience was not a good one. Despite a friend's recommendation, I reluctantly returned today. Both my friend and I ordered the 'chilli con carne' and were disappointed with the dry and tasteless dish. We tried to salvage it with salt but ended up leaving half uneaten. When we voiced our concerns to the waitress, she mentioned she would inform the chef but we received no further communication. Upon paying our bill, I inquired about the chef's response and was informed by the waitress that it was made by a different chef. There was no apology or discount offered. Overall, I will not be returning to the White Hart in the futur...

What a fantastic evening! The service, atmosphere, and especially the food were amazing! As I need to be both dairy and gluten free, the chef talked to me on the phone when I booked, and I was thrilled with the choice of dishes he was offering, and his total understanding of dietry needs. I thought could it really be this good? . I can assure you it was!!! From the welcoming smile from our lovely waitress as soon as we entered, to nothing being too much trouble, the whole evening was excellent. For anyone with special dietry needs, you can be assured of excellent service. You are in safe hands. The cheesecake was delicious!! We will definitely be back.
