"Long story short I 'm not going back here. Arrived and after a while as no one came over we decided to sit down. The second we did a waiter sprinted over and asked urgently if we had any alergies..., I wondered if the table we 'd chosen was made out of peanuts. We were then told we could scan a QR code and place our order online... okay... no problem, I guess the other two occupied tables were keeping them all very busy. We ordered and whilst we didn 't get the drinks we ordered it was fine and we still ate and enjoyed most of our meal. At the end the waiter came and very kindly shoved his tablet into my hands and said I had to make my choice, when I looked down I realised I was about to chose the percentage of our tip, it was defaulted to a healthy 12.5%. As he ststed at me I did wonder if I 'd get sent to the kitchen to wash some dishes if I deared leave a lower tip, or, god forbid, no tip at all (tut tut)! So I went along with it and assumed they 'd leave me alone, i was then presented with another choice did I want to donate to a mental health charity ? Um... I just wanted to go out for a pizza.... the whole thing was just uncomfortable. No, I won 't be going back here."

Wonderful location for an Italian restaurant in the heart of Cambridge. The food was very tasty and the stuff extremely welcoming and polite

From my previous visits I can confidently say this restaurant and staff have improved significantly from a warm welcome to a rapid and friendly service, specially to what we believe being the manager a young fella with curly hair very friendly and excellent customer service skills.

I came to this restaurant on a Saturday night with a friend. The staff was unhelpful and it took them a while to seat us. We had to wait 15 minutes before someone took our order, and then our food arrived 20 minutes before our drinks. Nobody checked back with us to see if we were satisfied with our meal. The food was good, but for the price of over £20 per person, I expected much better service.

It was quite off putting that the stairs down to the WCs and the floors, piping etc in the WCs were absolutely filthy (although the actual sanitary ware and basins, soap, dryer seemed fine). I did not really want to eat my ordered food after seeing the lack of cleanliness- I hope it is a better state of affairs in the kitchen! Staff were friendly, if very casual. Food Ok when I made myself eat it! Speisekarte ansehen

This was our first time visiting Regent Street in Cambridge and we had an incredible experience. The customer service was exceptional. Our waitress, Nikola, was polite, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Despite having other tables to attend to, she always made sure we had everything we needed. She truly enhanced our visit. We will definitely be returning soon. We also greatly enjoyed the complimentary garlic bread.

Slow service with the waitress seemingly glancing at us with our menus but taking an age to come over and actually take an order. Starters and main course were lovely. My dessert first choice was out of stock as was my second. I opted for the warm chocolate fudge cake which then came and was stone cold. I asked for it to be heated as per the dish description to be told oh it shouldn’t be as it would melt. They did warm it very very slightly but it was disappointing.

Booked a table. Arrived 2 hours later, they didn't have a booking for me but seated us anyway. Drinks good sharing starter was good then it all went down hill....no dressing on the salad so had to ask for that. Ordered gluten free pizzas..they came back and said they were out so had to re order.....the pasta was clumpy and stuck together...chips were over done. Got a under done chicken in breadcrumbs with a freezing pot of sauce and 12 chips amd a tablespoon of salad. We could believe the state of the food. Had to send everything back and just paid for drinks and 1 sharing starter...we had to look elsewhere to eat which ended up being very late as that ordeal took hour and a half as slow ser... This branch of Zizzi's is in a prime position in Cambridge and yet the service and staff in the main are abysmal.. we booked in advance for a table for 5 and yet tables still had to be pushed together and set up.. they were sticky and not clean. It wasn't clear if we were expected to order via the app or wait for service once clear it was table service with staff we managed to order starters were served just about warm. Drinks arrived after we had finished the starters and mains took forever to come they had been kept warm under a hot lamp as were congealed. Such a shame as the other branch in Cambridge seems to have cracked customer service, communication and prompt food delivery etc. The f...

Shocking service group of 6, tried to order via our phones as was expected by the staff and had multiple difficulties doing this. In the end, 2 of us ordered through a waiter and the other 4 via the app which caused complications/errors with the overall bill (there was no option to pay for yourself through the website? . This also meant that one of the group’s cocktail coupon was not valid. One of the pizza’s came without the ordered peppers, they returned it with about 5 TINY peppers on it. General quality of the pizzas was poor, very much lacking in ingredients especially for how overpriced they were. The staff seemed under trained and one did not speak English well which made the issues w...

"added dropwise for a pizza on the afternoon without reservation, and we were warmly welcomed and set immediately. the smell of reifer tomatensauce and gooey mozzarella in the stone oven under fire baked was an salutation to the sinnen. the restaurant was filled with a pleasant humor of talking and laughing, the sound of the teigs chopped in the kitchen, and the familiar sound of tellers and cutlery picked up and put down again - all with weak Italian music plays in the background. the ambiente was a tasteful hauch of seafoam blue on the wooden wall panels and equipped with sturdy furniture with red chili oils, salt and peppers and various types of fresh crimp on each table. a table can have salvia, another basilikum, the next coriander. a charming, subtler node to the l 'arte d 'arrangiarsi the art of making something from nothing of pizza. the menu was easy and easy to navigate, nothing to slandered level and nothing too adventurous. we ordered a pesto pizza and we asked for extra tomato sauce to which our server would be happy insured. after many times we came to our table customers and sleeps! the pesto had a tasteful taste and was pleasant tangy, the tomato sauce was juicy and not quite watery, and the mozzarella was evenly distributed and reached every end of the teigs. the best part, however, was the thick, soft resistance of the crust - not even the least incineration, but just at the right time pulled out of that. a 1 x 1 ' ft perfectly presented pizza. the, with two fizzy drinks, for less than 20 £. will return for the same, but with the intention to add a little red wine."
