"Not as good as it used to be. We love ordering fish and chips from Mike’s. Our last order was about a month ago, and we were very pleased with the price, service, portion sizes, and quality. However, when we went back last night, we were extremely disappointed. The price and quality were the same, but the portions were noticeably smaller. We understand that costs have risen, but honestly, we would rather see a price increase while still receiving the same portion sizes instead of maintaining the price and downsizing the food. Mike’s has a strong reputation in Skem, and it’s disheartening to see the owner choose to serve customers this way. It’s a shame because, from our perspective, we might start looking at other chip shops, Wetherspoons, or even different fast-food places. With expenses rising, many people are eating out and ordering takeout less frequently, but we still want good quality and value. I hope the owner recognizes this."
