"Ordered a family meal at 7.00pm in the evening to be delivered locally and was told it would be 30-40 minutes. Had to call twice to find out where our food was As children getting very hungry. Lady on the phone kept saying it wouldn’t be long but they were very busy. Food finally arrived at 9.10pm, 2 hours and 10 minutes after ordering. No apology whatsoever. The quality of the food was excellent however waiting for such a long time really put us off. I’s suggest using somewhere else for takeaways."

"We've been in France for a week and not until tonight have me and my wife been able to have a sensible meal that we are both impressed with. At Le Maori the service was awesome! All week long we had to wait a considerable amount of time to get our food and the bill. Tonight was definitely an exception. Service was exceptional and the three course meal was absolutely delicious. The starter salad followed by the salmon and rice and then the dessert was absolutely delicious. Well done!!"

"The food was just okay. However some issues with our order. Our starters and just my main came all at the same time. Which meant my meal was cold by the time my partners meal came. The fried rice was actually a bit burnt. The caramel pork was okay. The price is good for the area, however we think we can make something just as good if not better after a trip to an Asian supermarket. Maybe something has changed in the kitchen as previous reviews seem to really favour this joint."

This is the latest of several visits here for me, as I stay in a hotel nearby when I am in Monaco for an annual congress in April, and I try to have at least one meal here. The atmosphere is unpretentious, open and friendly and it is quite clearly a big favourite with the locals. The range of the menu is good, encompassing all the components of the usual Italian cuisine, and there is also a well-stocked bar. Prices are extremely reasonable and portions are plentiful. Sapori Italiani is however popular with the natives and can become quite full, at which time service does slow down because there is minimal precooking: however good things are worth waiting for so if you are in a large party or visit when the restaurant is full, relax, enjoy the friendly family atmosphere and drink some of the good wines on the wine list while you wait for your food: it is worth waiting for!"
