Seeing Sunday Roast advertised at The Thirsty Goat, our stomachs said it was that time of day although to be honest a little dubious about the possibility as so many Sunday roast joints have come and gone along the coast. But hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained.GO EAT. The Yorkshire puddings were criminally fabulous (large, crispy, just oh so very right). My beef was melt in your mouth, my partners lamb shank just fell off the bone. The veggies had adequate bite, and the cauliflower cheese, mashed and roasted potatoes made the dish very complete. Accompanied by custard (I think it should be law ) but there is the option of ice-cream or cream (I think Something lemony, moussey, biscuity, was my partners choice. Of course it had a name, I just can't remember. I do know he scrapped the dish clean.Lovely staff, great atmosphere, fabulous play list at just the right volume to not hinder conversation. We spied the TV screens, so imagine the evenings may be a little different (noisier"
