"They freaked out after I paid by card and selected USD for payment saying that we were robbing them pennies and wanting us to pay twice instead. They also had plenty to say about how tourist where I come from make their life so horrible apparently. They were perfectly nice until the payment issue then they treated us like criminals, both manager and employee. Everywhere I had gone they let me choose which currency to charge my bank but it always pays them in euros either way. There was a reason we were the only customers there besides another couple, poor management."

"Era nuestra primera vez y cenamos del 10. Comida original y exquisita, muy buena presentación y calidad -precio más que adecuada. Pero me quedo y me gustaría destacar la amabilidad del personal y la calidad del servicio. Había comensales con alergias e intolerancias y hubo un trato muy individualizado y cercano con respecto a estas cuestiones. Se agradeció enormemente. "Food: we went on a Sunday and only a single menu was served, made up of 3 starters (Japanese salad, gyozas and meatballs) and a main course (sweet rice) without bread service and a drink included. The food was ok, the rice came out a bit chewy for my taste. Price: moderate, although the price per half-liter bottle of water (the only format available) seemed exaggerated to me, 4 bottles of water off the menu, 2 liters of water were €7 service: ok. Venue: well, for the site that the venue had we were too close to the other tables."

"We came to this restaurant as it was very close to our hotel and was a nice setting off the main strip. We had a tomato salad, ham and cheese, patatas bravas and bread. Our meal was beautiful and fresh and the service was wonderful. We returned a second time after bad service/meals elsewhere and the second time had Grilled Prawns and an omelette. Wished that I had tried paella here because it looked great. We enjoyed both meals immensely and would return in a second if we were to return to Benicassim."

"At the beginning my friend from benicasim said to me that he knows the best sandwich cafe but I couldn’t believe that. Because until that moment, I tried many times sandwiches and bocadillos but always I disappointed. But I tried first time in the nou cafe!! I realized that I find the real one!! So awesome bocadillos and good price for enjoy!! I like all the foods from here I tried, but my favorite is salad with chicken and fried eggs with cheese and magic sauce. Sorry I don’t remember what was the name. But if you explain that they will know in a second!! You should try that and everyone need to try that!! It was the best salad ever!! Oh! And also croquetas and bocadillos are awesome too I wish I can try another time!!"

"I'm tiquismiquis for rice. As soon as they put the paella on the table, it flew. We chose rice to band and I just hope I can go back to benicàssim to try the rest of rice. the attention was very pleasant both at the restaurant and on the phone, we were very a drop. "¡Hola! hemos ido con reserva y es cierto que tanto la comida como la atención de los camareros con nosotros ha sido muy buena. recomendamos la escalera, los boquerones en adobo y el pastel de queso. Las bravas no tienen nada especial. Por otra parte, habríamos agradecido a los dueños o camareros que llamaran la atención sobre una mesa de 10 personas que no dejaron de gritar y cantar porque era insufrible. Todos queremos pasar un buen rato, pero con medida y sobre todo sin gritar a lo largo de la comida."

"Fuimos a cenar mi familia y yo y la verdad que es un sitio agradable y muy familiar, el trato muy bueno aunque un pelin lentos pero normal es una época con mucho paso de gente pero la espera merece muchísimo la pena, las patatas con salsa mogano espectaculares, las recomiendo si venís, las hamburguesas aún mejor tienen una buena variedad y están súper buenas en especial la pulled pork es muy top. Recomendable si pasáis por Benicassim."

"Una casa de pueblo en la parte antigua de Benicassim, con dos plantas y mobiliario variopinto, así como la decoración de las mesas. Que con una factura como esa tuviera salvamanteles de papel es algo que no me hace demasiada gracia. Hay una pequeña barra para tomar algo y esperar a ser sentado en la puerta, y una pizarra con lo que hay ese día, como cigalas a nueve euros la unidad, o gamba roja a ocho. La materia prima es buena, y la preparación de los platos está bien, pero hubo unanimidad en que el San Pedro que casi todos pedimos de segundo, no era para tirar cohetes. El revuelto de huevos de oca que traen de Segovia, está bien para probar y compartir. Es un restaurante sin menú, muy valorado en la zona, donde la cartera hay que tenerla preparada si no se va con tiento."

"We have eaten here before but this time went in the evening and had the set menu it was amazing value and the food was all homemade and fresh. We got 4 generous sized starters to share (croquettes, sliced sausages, whitebait and salmon mousse) with bread. For mains you could choose veal steak with chips or hake in marinara sauce, both were very good. Profiteroles and cheese cake were both very nice desserts and there wee others to choose from. You also got beer or wine included and price was 19 euros each. Staff do not speak much English but are very friendly."

"It’s basically a dangerous ride up to this restaurant. Not so much that the road has vertical drops by the side or that it’s very twisty. No, it’s cyclists coming down at breakneck speed and hurtling down the centre of the road. However. Stop here for a meal or a coffee. It’s location does it all and forgives a million inefficiencies. Not much English, they don’t race to serve you but if you try your best Spanish on them and enthuse about the view they warm to you. The views aren’t good, they are spectacular!"

"Fuimos a cenar reservando por teléfono. Pedimos 2 tipos de croquetas: la de queso azul y nueces (2€ que es sin gluten, y la de sepia (2.60€ , muy cremosa. También probamos los huevos rotos con boletus y foie (16€ , ración abundante y con poca sal. El canelón de rabo de toro al parmesano y tartufo fue lo mejor (19€ , y también compartimos picaña (24€ , un poco dura. Estuvimos muy bien atendidas y en plenas tascas de Benicassim el ambiente es una pasada."

"I was at the benicasim beach and was looking for a good place to have roasted meat. We're going to get a good coconut. I started looking for a good place in google and this place had good reviews. They were talking about their coconut, and yes, they were absolutely right. excellent meat, very good service and also at good price. eating a entrecot with garrison for 18€ is good to be a wood roaster. for me if I go to a restaurant and I see paper tablecloths then it's not very good, although it could have very good food and be good at price, as they are saved in cloth tablecloths. I found this place elegant, with cloth tablecloths, with very good meat and above at a reasonable price and nothing exaggerated. They also approached some loving kittens and looked at you to give them a piece of meat as if they were dogs. They ate you by the hand and left you pets."

"Me ha sorprendido muy gratamente este restaurante. Fui hace años pero estaba embarazada y no me encontraba muy bien y no guardaba muy buen recuerdo, pero darle una 2º oportunidad ha sido lo mejor que he hecho!!! Ibamos 7 personas y nos pusieron una mesa redonda, que me encantó!! Ademas, habian 3 niñas y nos sacaron colorines para pintar por la parte de detras del mantel individual que eran dibujs para colorear para niños, por lo que las niñas estuvieron bien entretenidas... Los arroces, que estan muy muy buenos, los sirven en paellas individuales, por lo que ya no tienes que coincidir con otra persona que quiera tu mismo arroz y eso me parecio un puntazo!! Nos tomamos una sangria de cava y otra de vino rosado... la de vino rosado fue insuperable!!! Aunque tengo que volver porque me quedo por probar la de vino blanco y la normal... jejeje Pedimos de picar pulpo a la parrilla que estaba espectaculamente tierno y calamares y puntillas on pan creo que eran... muy bueno tambien.. Yo pedi de principal una carrillada con raviolis de setas y salsa pimienta.. no he probado una carrillada igual... estaba tremenda!!!! El crepe de pulled pollo con curry tambien estaba espectacular... Y de postre las tortitas de dulce de lecha buenisimas tambien... realmente estoy deseando volver y comer una carrillada de nuevo... eso si, esta vez con sangria de vino blanco..."

"Cenamos en el interior. Muy cuidados los detalles del restaurante. Para 3 personas pedimos una ensalada, calamares (los comimos más ricos y de apariencia más casera al día siguiente en el restaurante La Llar), sepia (no había visto jamás una tan pequeña, unos 10-15 cm), pan con tomate, mejillones al vapor y un plato de queso. No estuvo mal pero me esperaba más, sinceramente."
