"Looking for a change from our pizza, french, italian, and Steak european dining routine we thought we would give this Asian restaurant a chance. We showed up to a completely empty restaurant which is never a good sign. However the spring rolls were the best ever. Still deep-fried but with a crumbly fresh texture. Wrapped in lettuce and mint they were fabulous. Then came the steamed dim-sims which were excellent. Following were a couple of fat vietnamese vegetarian soft-wrapped rolls. They were good too. We should have stopped there...We ordered the sizzling beef with onions and peppers on a sizzling plate. We could hear the sizzling in the kitchen. But when the meal arrived it was a smallish serve on an ordinary plate and any sizzle had been terminally extinguished by a truckload of gloppy, brownish gelatinous sauce. This sauce not only extinguished the sizzle but also any flavour that might have been present. The beef pieces weren't bad but we never did find the onions or peppers (or even any taste) amongst the ever-present sauce. A bit of a disappointing ending.So we can half-recomend this restaurant but stay away from anything with a sauce."
