"Some years ago, my wife and I visited Biarritz and stumbled upon a fantastic Mexican food place that served some of thee best fajitas and salsas we've ever had. On returning for our anniversary in June, we looked forward to dining here again only to find that another restaurant now occupied that spot. As far as I can tell, there are any two Mexican restaurants in Biarritz, or at least only two that show up on travel aggregator sites. We went to 3 Salsas for dinner on a rainy night. Great decor, very friendly and chatty owner/waiter, good music playing and the place filled up quickly. We ordered a pitcher of raspberry margaritas and the nacho plate as an appetizer. It was huge and plenty for two people. It honestly could have been a main course by itself. It was good, a little heavy but allright. The fajitas and enchiladas were not that tasty. They both lacked the spice and zest and 'simmered all day' taste that good Mexican food has. Both dishes tasted like something I would make from the boxed Mexican food section at French supermarket. No cilantro or lime juice. Disappointing. The accompanying salsa was devoid of all flavor and tasted like cut of tomatoes with paprika. Then again, I was born and raised in California so maybe my idea of Mexican food is different than what the French pallette will accept but it just wasn't what we were looking for. We would have loved to see simple tortilla chips and homemade salsa on the menu also."

"a restaurant to share with real friends: already 8 years that we are faithful to the address and the team and we never fail to find ourselves there at each stay on biarritz. We always find what we like: a generous and tasty cuisine, a relaxed atmosphere but quality products and an atmosphere conducive to relaxation but that does not forget the quality of the service. the marina in Spanish for two or three depending on the shore is always top, the cod paved with white beans to fall, the intercoast and the beef coast have what it takes to grind, and the seasonings as well as cooking are always perfectly mastered, despite a room almost always filled in season. Well, the cogollos have disappeared from the damages. and the tarta whisky is no longer the same as before horror! : the supplier no longer delivers, but there are many other classics to rediscover. then it is true, we can criticize the noisy side of the room but we will have all the death to appreciate the silence, rates not necessarily given but as for the good wine we can not make good kitchen without expensive products, the puzzle to find a parking place 10 minutes walk to get there puts appetite and 10 minutes then helps to digest, but it must not forget the efficiency of the service We will therefore continue to return to the family for 3 generations who all appreciate it! only with our close friends, because it's one of those rare tables where you always feel like home and where you never get disappointed."

"I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Never have I had such a disappointing and downright unacceptable experience in a restaurant. My younger brother has a severe nut, sesame seed and shellfish allergy. We alerted the staff to this as soon as we sat down when we were ordering our dishes. The first starter that came out for him had sesame seeds on it, so we had to send it back to the kitchen for it to be remade. Then the mains came out, and yet again his dish was covered in sesame seeds. We had to send the dish back again, pointing out that he has a severe allergy and will go into anaphylactic shock if he comes into contact with these allergens. The waitress then brought out the same plate and stated to my mother that ‘sesame seeds are not nuts’, to which we then had to reiterate that we are well aware of this and he is allergic to both. We then realised there were still sesame seeds on the dish and they had just sent the same dish out again. Had my brother not fully inspected his meal again he could have died. This is a complete and utterly disgusting lack of respect and duty of care for patrons of your restaurant. This allergy is not a joke. When we mentioned this to the waiter, he suggested that sometimes people came in and ‘said they were allergic to tomatoes because they didn’t like them’, indicating how lax they were about the whole issue. We then asked if he could just see the dessert menu and skip the main because he was too nervous to eat it. We had to ask twice for the dessert menu and the waiter couldn’t even bring us that. At this point we decided to just leave the restaurants. Restaurants have a duty of care for their patrons. Allergies can be life threatening and I am utterly disgusted that you would treat someone who is paying to eat in your restaurant this way. If you have allergies or you value good service avoid this establishment at all costs."
