"Absolutely terrible service. After being a customer for a very long time I had noticed a massive decline in standards over the past 18 months especially. There is no consistency from the chefs Sometimes the food has been nice then more often lately it has been very substandard.. There is ALWAYS something missing off home delivery orders too. My last order took about 2 hours to arrive and was completely stone cold and also had half of the order missing. It was totally inedible. I called up and politely asked if I could return it and get a refund. I was told they were very busy and he apologised and said that he would just replace my complete meal if I called another time but couldn’t refund me. I understand businesses are struggling since covid so agreed to this. The complete meal went in the bin. This evening I called and explained I chose tonight as it was a quieter evening for them and as I was eating alone asked for a lesser order as my replacement. I even asked for a half portion of onion bhajis (even though I had previously paid for a full portion and they didn’t even deliver them) He took my full order which only came to £14 and then had the audacity to say I could have a £4 discount!!! He actually said I needed to pay £10. He remembered our previous conversation but said he was no longer replacing any meals. He was really rude and completely refused to honour his promise. I assume that must be because he has so many complaints and unhappy customers now. His attitude was awful. I was prepared to try again but now II will NEVER use the place again. Don’t waste your money here."

"We have dined at the Vic several times, but on this occasion, we were extremely disappointed. We waited over an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived, two out of the four meals were served cold. The issue was somewhat resolved by reheating them in the microwave, but it was still disappointing. Additionally, not all of the dessert options we wanted were available. It's a pity, as we have generally been satisfied with this restaurant in the past."

"Hello, I came to Zizzis yesterday evening with my work colleagues as our Christmas meal. I called beforehand and the woman I spoke to was very helpful confirmed I could extend our booking from 8 to 12 people which I greatly appreciated. When we got there the booking could not be found, causing me stress with everyone else when in fact it was there all along and the person at the front didn’t look properly. Once we were seated we were given our waiter for the evening who unfortunately was not helpful in any way at all. We ordered two portions of olives, only one appeared. My friend ordered a meat pizza and when he came and bought it to her she asked for some extra pizza sauce to which he replied with it’s got meat on it, is that the meat you eat? (She was Indian and it just came across quite insensitive) I don’t think he smiled once during the entire 2 hours we were there He refused to engage with us, or ask if the meals were okay Trying to ask for more drinks made us feel bad as it appeared to be a very tiresome task for him to do his job Unfortunately I did not get his name as no one at Zizzis wore name badges last night. I was deeply disappointed in the service we had for our Christmas meal yesterday evening. "we all had the scallops for beginners in a creamy sauce, that was very rich and satisfying. for the net had my partner lamming, the only problem was that it was swimming in a lot of sauce and served in a bowl/plate. I had the lasagne., it was really good, a generous portion, the others had a bolognaise and a seafood spaghetti dish, all generous portions. all are finished with pudding and a hot drink. the personal was great and attentive, without being intrusive, the only part is parking or the lack of it, but cannot blame this facility for it."

"Have visited this restaurant a couple of times before and have never been disappointed. Booked to go on a Sunday afternoon with my partner and our friend. On arrival they had no idea about our booking despite open table sending me a confirmation email . Thankfully the restaurant was very quiet with only tables occupied . Once seated we immediately asked for a jug of water, this took minutes and more requests . The waitress half filled our water glasses then took the jug away with her. My partners prawn starter was cold. There was a very long wait between courses. My pasta main was cold and I sent it back, on receiving another it was inedible. It tasted like oil. My creamed garlic spinach was disgusting and tasted like salty water. My partner then informed the manager. To be fair to him he was really good and couldn't do enough to try and compensate. I don't eat meat or fish and the only veg option was the one I'd sent back, he offered to make me something not on the menu however my companions had nearly finished their main. He bought me some complimentary foccacia which was good. My partner ordered a sauce for his steak as the first was very small, this never arrived however was put on the bill. Very very disappointed and doubt we will return. The two stars awarded are solely for the proffesional and courteous manager."

"We decided to give this restaurant a try based on a non-vegan's recommendation. While there weren't many vegan options available, they were clearly labeled. The vegan chili mushroom starter was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was knowledgeable about veganism and even double-checked if the naan bread was vegan, offering an alternative suggestion. Unfortunately, we forgot to take any photos."

"The new owners of this restaurant have completely mad it the place to eat! The food is amazing both English and Jamaican food!! I’ve tried all the Jamaican food now over the course of one week and I have to say wow wow wow! The food i would say is underpriced for what you get but we shouldn’t complain about that. The lady who I presume has taken it over will go above and beyond for you as I found out today when I rang at 6pm they were closed but still stayed to do a takeaway for me and my family which we appreciated so much. The food is just so tasty nothing is to much for them and they treat you like your the only one that matters. I am so glad this place has been taken over by such wonderful people and will be dining here as much as I can"

"Another wonderful meal at Delhi Dining. We know it's a bit off the normal route for a beautiful dining experience but the food here is truly better than anything other local Indian restaurants can deliver. Manager Ali and head waiter Kamran are real gentlemen, delivering absolutely tasty flavourful authentic Indian dishes to your table. Tonight we had succulent chicken tikka starters followed by king prawn and chicken pathia, one slightly hotter, they cook from fresh to your specific requirements, with garlic rice and pilau rice. Thank god they survived the coved lockdowns. It would be wonderful if those people who I know order takeaways on a regular basis from Delhi Dining would take the time to come and dine in at the restaurant. Hopefully we will see you there, we dine here most Saturdays "

"Lucarelli is absolutely amazing inside, it is so beautiful!!! My daughter and I visited for her 16th Birthday. We were 15 mins late and the host still accomadated us, which I was very relieved about. All of the food was delicious. We did have an issue with the focaccia being missing from the sharing plate but the waitress soon corrected this with 4 small slices between the 2 of us which was not enough. Other than that I can not fault the presentation of food and drinks, desserts were particularly impressive. Half of the staff were friendly and the other half were not. In particular one of the waitresses was rude and miserable which put a dampner on our evening. This was very disappointing and upsetting. We paid a lot of money and I expected an overall fantastic experience, with great food ambience and service. I tried not to let this spoil it but it was very difficult because my daughter and I had heard fabulous things about the restaurant. When the bill came over I was not given time to look at it before the card machine was presented. When I checked the bill after there was an optional £15 service charge, which I would have refused to pay due to the inadequate service overall. I would still return but ask not to be served by one waitress in particular."

"Went here for a date night after reading all the positive reviews.... We started with calamari which was actually delicious ....we 've had calamari in many different places and it was yummy!! We had drinks etc which were fine. But then we ordered the main.... We had the sea bass with spaghetti and the beef stroganoff, I have to say it was very basic food in my view, the space Spaghetti was cooked well but very oily and quite bland. Definitely needs more flavour, the beef stroganoff was 'meh ' the beef strips were the only redeeming factor in that dish, great beef. We didn 't even finish our food, so yh it wasn 't what we expected at all especially with all these reviews about 'feels like being in Italy ' is definitely NOT what was going though my mind. This is my personal option and experience of this place so try it for yourself you might just love it! But I 'll pass, especially since the food is so pricey, it was not worth it for us!"

"we visit the bell and bear two or three times in the month because of their great selection of beer, but last night we had something to eat there. I ordered the chicken and bacon salad from the special board. wonderful, excellant worth for money, very healthy and hearty and obviously prepared with thought and passion! the presentation was very kreatiw, especially the balsamico dimmer as a middle piece with the other ingredients carefully arranged to give a beautiful color sprayer. I thanked the staff, and apparently it was the idea of one of the younger employees. I think they said her name was close? please give us our thanks to them and we look forward to seeing hannahs chicken bacon salad regularly on the menu."

"Food is terrible. It's not a fusion restaurant but there are tempura shrimps? The tempura was soggy and thicker than my shrimp. The risotto was wayyyyy too salty and the steak extras £1.5 garlic butter is literally oil with a tiny piece of garlic shaving floating on it. I don't know how this restaurant has been given such high rating. It's bad to the point for me to leave an online review for the first time ever. £140 tab down the drain."

"Decent sushi, props to the chef. We had the sushi master selection for two people (28 pieces of assorted sushi, 2 miso soups and bottomless green tea) and some tuna sashimi at the end which came to £26 altogether which is a reasonable price for sushi from what I've seen. It's a small stall in the bullring fish market run by just the chef so it has an authentic feel and a nice atmosphere. I would recommend Otoro sushi however I suggest booking ahead as it is always busy."

"Restaurant looks great, we were seated in a booth so it felt more private. Music playing in restaurant gave a good atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and attentive actually stopped and had a conversation with us. Menu had good choice we had a vegetarian and vegan in our party, everyone enjoyed their food. Stuffed tomatoes were delicious could have eaten another portion! Service was well timed, we wasnt rushed but did not have to wait too long. Will be back!"
