"I recently visited The Poor several times for drinks and a few meals while in close proximity to Blackawton. I must say the service was excellent. The barman, who might also be the manager, along with a young lady, were incredibly friendly and attentive. Both meals we had were among the best dining experiences we've ever had. The addition of the log fire created a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. Plus, there are plenty of parking spaces available. I highly recommend this place!"
