"We dined at 2134 on the chalet staffs night off during our week in Les arc 2000 and for me it was one of the best meals, if not the best, of the week. The staff were so friendly and well informed, and were happy to chat about the wines with our wine-buff friend. We were there to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary, and everyone at 2134 really made it a special night. To eat, 2 of us had the Veal chop which was heaven, the other 2 had the fish, we they also said was excellent. Lots of other people were enjoying local specialties like Raclette and the local smoked meats. There menu is quite small, but what these guys, they do VERY well. Much better to do 6 things freshly & excellently than have a long menu when everything comes from a microwave! I wanted to go back later in the week to try the 1 kilo if beef to share but this sadly didn't happen. Highly recommend this. Especially for meat-lovers, and anyone who likes fine dining. The complimentary amuse bouche to start, was a creamy foam of soup, and the cake the guys made us for a special anniversary cake, was a kind of Snickers cake and it was quite delicious. The ambiance and decor is also nice, modern, very high ceilings so nice and airy. Our only negative comment is that it is not very well sigh posted, having booked on line, we had a job to actually find the place. Get some more signs out, guys!!! We would certainly visit again."

"The meal was nice, not the best we have had for a ‘cook your own meat on a slate’ meal for the following reasons the upstairs where we sat is quite small and the ceiling is very low, which meant when you and other...tables cooking meat/cheese it can get a bit smoky, which is expected but in a confined space isn’t too good. Also, the meat (turkey, veil and beef) and then your sides (we had a selection of veg, chips and potatoes between us) and also uncooked veg, came on the same plate. There was no room on the table for extra side plates to put your meal together once you have cooked your meat and onions/peppers/mushrooms so the raw meat and cooked meat were all on one plate which we were a bit funny about, the raw turkey especially contaminating everything else. It all just got a bit messy between the of us trying to cook meats and veg and putting it back onto the same plate the raw meat had come off. It was nice but we have had better in Arc for the fact of the layout and bigger resteraunt (less smoky and confined). The cheese fondue sits in a little stove in a pot which keeps it melted and hot, and it comes with a large selection of bread and a bowl of salad, that was very nice! Also had a tier of different pots of sauces which were also nice. The lady that served us was lovely! Very friendly and helpful. between the of us one bottle of red, a glass of wine, bottle of water, ‘cook your own meat’ and one cheese fondue."
