"I ordered the fish finger sandwich, which was subpar— the fish fingers looked grey and heavily processed. The tiny side salad and coleslaw, which were extras, tasted as though they had been sitting out for a while. The meal felt overpriced; two fish finger sandwiches and two soft drinks came to just under £30, which seemed excessive for lunch. I noticed that most of the other customers were elderly, in their 70s, while my dining companion and I are in our mid-30s.
I can't fault the staff, as they were friendly and attentive, but the food is really what's holding this place back. It seems like the restaurant is relying on its prime location and has allowed both the food quality and the decor to decline."
